Deck Talk: Darkwonyx's Paladin Mountain Giants
In this week's Deck Talk, TheChiv has Darkwonyx on to discuss his Paladin deck which features Mountain Giant and Molten Giant! It uses its plethora of taunts, as well as life gain, to sustain and outlast most opponents. The giants in the deck has can provide some real threats that will enforce their will on your opponent.
The deck doesn't do the best against Handlock and Miracle Rogue, and Priests can be a bit of a pain, so if you're in an area of the ladder where these are very popular, you may want to pull out another deck! Posted Nov 19, 2014 (Naxx Launch)Guys this minion the shieldmaiden looks overpowered compared to guardian of kings. 7 mana 5/6 guardian of kings only restores 6 health but 6 mana 5/5 shield maiden gains 5 armour. I think reducing its stats by 1 will make more sense because armor gained has synergy with shield slam also.

Posted Nov 14, 2014 (Naxx Launch)I think shieldmaiden is better, more synergy with armor than health, and removal that can deal with 5 health usually deals with 6 health also, like fireball and such. and that all important 1 mana difference is the icing on the cake, 5 mana is so much easier and comfortable to cast than 6 mana.

Posted Nov 14, 2014 (Naxx Launch)I decided to build a deck with Shieldmaiden since you guys are taking a dump all over the card. I think a Midrange/Control hybrid with Shieldmaiden can be viable, but only time will tell once the expansion and all of the cards are available for use.

Posted Nov 14, 2014 (Naxx Launch)They're hating on it because it doesn't introduce new mechanics, so it must be bad. I agree it's underwhelming but it's a good card. People weren't impressed with Webspinner nor with Sludge Belcher when those were shown and yet they're definitely two of the most frequently used cards from Naxx. We'll know how good the card actually is once people start to use it.

Posted Nov 15, 2014 (Naxx Launch)Nope. I just saw the Shaman card go up 30 votes in less than a minute, while the Druid got 2 votes only. You should also note that both cards are extremely near in number of votes (Druid was lagging behind by only 4 votes before the boost).
Edit: And when I was typing this, the Shaman card got 60+ votes while there was 1 vote for Druid. Yup, nothing's fishy there.
