Why is the token neutral if the card it summons is for Hunter? 

maybe there is a neutral that makes locusts that we haven't seen?

It is very slow also you lose the tempo of the match, hunter has better cards of cost 3

This is a really cool card... but the mana cost hurts it. 3 mana slot in hunter is super competitive. And with this not being a rotation and finite slots what would you take out for this??

Y'all are sleeping on this card, this is gonna be really powerful. Each turn you can ping a minion then either use the Locust to ping the same one or ping a different one or just sit on the board.

You have Scavenging Hyena synergy, Houndmaster synergy (for when Master's Call rotates), Kill Command synergy, etc. Sure it's not a SMOrc card but hunter is getting a lot of midrange, and dare I say maybe even control, cards this expansion. It's super flexible and great at controlling the board.

Great to pick off some reborn minions

Let's all be honest the only reason this card was made was to balance the new 3 mana hunter spell that generates a hunter beast, secret, and weapon for the standard format. Don't get me wrong that new card is still very powerful but a weapon like this is mainly useful in the early game.

Either way I am glad this card was made for the standard format as almost every over hunter card so far has be very powerful.

If you play a beast-centric deck, this weapon is great at any stage of the game since the Locusts have Rush. You can use them in conjunction with your buff cards to trade even better, or let them die to buff your Hyena.

I think this has potential even in Wild Control Hunter archetypes. The higher cost weapons are bad, the two cost weapons have not enough impact, and the Candleshot doesn't conflict with this, well maybe you float one charge or make a bad tempo play, but nothing of relevance.Eaglehorn Bow requires many Secrets to work efficently, and I think most Secrets are actually too low impact for Control Hunter.

In Standard this will be played for sure.

This card is better than it looks at first glance. It enables beast triggers and you can buff the 1/1 in several ways. It's a slower Muster for Battle basically but it helps make up for this giving spawned 1/1's rush.

2 mana 1/2, maybe, 3 mana 1/3, kinda bad

Well, in terms of weapon stats, it is. Weapons seem to be priced in the same fashion as Hero Attack buffs, Therefore it is:

1 Damage = 0 Mana

2 Damage = 0.5 Mana (Pounce)

3 Damage = 1 Mana (Upgrade!)

4 Damage = 1.5 Mana Light's Justice, Heroic Strike, all the 2/2 Weapons

5 Damage = 2 Mana

6 Damage= 2.5 Mana Fiery War Axe

and so on. Note that 0.5 Values can be rounded either up or down. 

So this card in terms of weapon stats is worth 1 Mana. This leaves two Mana for the card text. The text summons a total of three 1/1s with Rush. 

1/1 is worth 0.5 Mana. 3 x 0.5 = 1.5 Mana in terms of minion stats. So the remaining 0.5 Mana go to the 3x Rush.

On Average Rush is worth 0.9 Mana and on good cards it is worth 0.5 Mana. So normally you pay 0.5 Mana for 1x Rush, on this card you get 3x Rush.

So in other words, This card cheats out 1 Mana over the course of three turns
