Blizzard has been active on Twitter, giving us answers on some of your questions from the new expansion.
Quote from BlizzardGoblins vs Gnomes Cards
Can we summon legendaries from a random class from Sneed's Old Shredder's deathrattle ?
Yes! Though best case is Kel'Thuzad [It will re-summon Sneed!] ;-) - Ben Brode (Source 1/Source 2)Can Sneed's Old Shredder can summon Mr Bigglesworth?:D
Only collectible legendaries - Ben Brode (Source)Why are they called "Mechs" and not mechanical like in WoW/WC3? To keep it short?
Yep, and it sounds cool! - Ben Brode (Source)Commanding Shout + Bouncing Blade when you have 2 Armorsmiths and your foe has no minions...what happens?
Stops when all your minions have 1 Health - Ben Brode (Source)Silly question: Do classes without weapon get a 'random weapon' from Blingtron 3000? Does it feel scary to change the game so much?
Yep! It's awesome! :) - Ben Brode (Source)Will any current cards (like Harvest Golem) be changed to mechs?
Yep! - Ben Brode (Source)Goblins vs Gnomes Misc
Have you considered renaming the 'Expert' card set to 'Classic' ?
We actually already did in the expansion :) - Ben Brode (Source)Do we know how much goblins vs gnomes will cost?
Same as classic packs [100 Gold] - Ben Brode (Source)Are you TRYING to lean towards a more RNG type game? Or do you expect most of the neutral RNG cards to be in more "fun" decks?
Randomness does a lot of good for the game! That said there are tons of cards that are not random yet to be announced. Good mix. - Ben Brode (Source)Is it me, or do the Mech type minions from GVG remind me of Murloc? Aggro, synergize
They actually play pretty different. Less swarmy.
Aren't most of them buffed by mechs? Seem meant to be played swarmy
A lot of the cards care about having 1 mech, not as many as you can fit.
And I understand some randomness is fun and adds to a game but there is a fine line that shouldn't crossed.
We have plenty of non-random cards too! And many random effects are easily controlled. I.e. kodo vs a single minion. (Source)Arena
Mr. Woo never said whether you could get the new card pack from Arena. Is it possible?
yes. That's all that comes from arena. No more classic packs as rewards. - Ben Brode (Source)How about having the option to choose which packs you get from arenas it would be better for new players.
Much more complicated. New players definitely will want the shiny new packs. - Ben Brode (Source)Arena only rewarding GvG packs is odd. Why not reward a chit to allow players to choose GvG or Expert pack? Not new player friendly
Lots of UI for that, figured players would want the shiny new stuff - Ben Brode (Source)Will single card rewards be from 'classic' or GvG, or will they be only from classic?
I believe both - Ben Brode (Source)Spectator Mode
Reg. spectator mode: I assume you can only see both hands in friendly games? (To prevent cheating shenanigans.)
You have to be friends with both players and have permission to spectate both hands. - Yong Woo (Source)

Goblins vs Gnomes: Gameplay Video
Blizzard released a gameplay video of the new expansion. It shows off the sounds and actions of several new cards.
'Randomness is very important to Hearthstone. It gives you the potential for epic experiences.' Kappa
Top Five Hearthstone Plays of the Week would disagree with your sarcasm. :)
All will eventually be revealed.
Though a 2 mana, 3/2 minion with Windfury does seem like a lot of VALUE for the cost. I suspect it has a downside Battlecry or Deathrattle.
Continuing your thought, a Deathrattle would have triggered in the video and you would have seen the Deathrattle symbol on the card. A negative Battlecry is a possibility, tho.
Another possibility is that it is a token minion that has a 2 mana cost, the same way a 4/4 hatched Nerubian has a 3 mana cost.
Good point. Definitely can't be a negative Deathrattle.
I don't think it can be a token, though. Those pilot cards only pull in collectible cards.
I would be really be interested, if we see a second class legendary. Did anybody ask Devs about it? Maybe someone could ask Ben Brode on twitter?
So, basically, it's just a huge damn money grab. You're a new player? Need the old Legendaries? But also need the new cards, so you can only spend your gold on Arenas? Well TOO BAD SLAPPY, better start throwing your cash away on buying Classic packs.
That's stupid. A deck contains 30 cards, no matter how many cards you have in your collection.
A new player has to learn the game, one hero after another. He/she will bring all heroes to level 10 to have the basic decks and at the beginning you will earn a lot of gold to spend. After the learning phase a new player will search for good, cheap decks maybe on hearthpwn.com and start collecting the cards for it. Then he/she plays with this deck, earns more gold etc.
And again: only 30 cards are needed for a deck, not a huge collection, so it does not matter if there are 500, 1,000 or 5,000 different cards. The only thing which may take a while is achieving all Naxx cards, as you have so spend 3500 gold for everything - or real money, but it is worth it, because HS itself is free. Nobody forces you to spend real money.
There's also Demolisher, Mr.Bitey (from Dragonling Mechanic), Alarm-O-Bot and whatever Gelbin Mekkatorque brings with him. I can't think of any others in the Classic packs. (Maybe Venture Co. Mercenary, Reckless Rocketeer, War Golem, Arcane Golem or Ancient Watcher?)
As I said, "I can't think of any others in the Classic packs." LTR
Was there any word on when they were going to preview the remaining cards, I figured they would show more on the second day of blizzcon but that was a no go.
Who knows? its probably gonna be a surprise? Who dont like suprises? XD
They now have a Twitter voting system on the Goblins vs Gnomes official page. They'll be revealing a few cards a week.
I'm the only one that notice the watermark on text shows the set of the card? :p
It's been like that a while! There's a couple with the Expert Swirl, this wasn't intentional, they're supposed to have the gear. We'll touch them up soon.
I just checked and Naxx had it's own symbol too, but i just noticed it now. Thats pretty neat, i was wondering if they gonna copy set symbols from MTG.... and they did :p
Ya'll are too cynical. Developing spectator mode, new cards, new systems etc. takes precedence over adding functionality to select a card pack after arena, a feature that the majority of their players are unlikely to use,
Nothing is ever good enough for the fans. They could release an update which fixes every single piece of feedback they have ever seen, and we'd still have complaints about new features that didn't get added in which the devs weren't aware people wanted.
I dunno. As someone who is still building the base card set and use arena a lot for that. I think not being able to select the pack is a let down. it's also a good way for newer players to feel left behind
And with about 1/3 of the cards of the base set. At some point you are probably going to want those base packs again.
Arena only rewarding GvG packs is odd. Why not reward a chit to allow players to choose GvG or Expert pack? Not new player friendly
"Lots of UI for that, figured players would want the shiny new stuff" - Ben Brode
Sure , because GvG is a completely standalone expansion so you will never need classic cards to make a competitive deck. Kappa.
