Reckless Experimenter Nerf Coming June 3
Reckless Experimenter will be receiving a change in the upcoming card buff patch on June 3rd. Blizzard did not originally realize that SN1P-SN4P had a negative interaction with the card. See the card and text change below.
Added Text: "Cost can't be reduced below 1"
The card will be disenchantable for full value starting June 3, after the patch releases. Bravo for the quick fix, Blizzard!

Once the change to Reckless Experimenter is live, you will be able to disenchant it for its full Arcane Dust value for two weeks.
I really wouldn't be surprised if other cards get nerfed. There's still Corpse Widow. There still is Glinda. OTKs will always find a way.
The nerf should have been at SN1P-SN4P by making it's costs 4 mana , not Reckless Experimenter .
this is a major slap in the face for Priest and nerfs directly other decks that didn't deserve this!
Priest already was in a bad state. This was very unnecessary!
You shouldn't complain too much. We will get busted legendary FOR FREE and full disenchant value for barely used epic.
I don't understand why people are so quick to jump to the defense of a card that isn't being played.
If anything, this might make Reckless Experimenter see more play because -- even after the nerf -- the SN1P-SN4P synergy is intense.

Not bad this change. Priest can have the push the it needs to be something in the meta with the new card.

that would be way to specific and confusing
Because those "shit cards" were designed with the even/odd deck archetypes in mind. Genn and Baku getting hall of famed was very sudden and they want to give the cards a chance to shine now that they aren't as restricted by mana costs.

I couldn’t agree more! Yes the combo is nutty if pulled off on any turn true but everyone have been shitting themselves so much beforehand
let it out, let it play and then make adjustments. Everything in theory is easier! Community just killed a new priest deck out of fear.. and for what? The archetype could have spent ages to come to the otk if played around... guess what the disruption tool is called “ Taunt “ or keep killing that mech on the board. And then Amen when it does happen on turn 5 as result of a lucky draw, that’s it take the victory home and next game on

You're nuts dude. Just stop. 0 mana echo magnetic doesn't need time in the game to see if it's broken. It's broken. Just because there's already broken stuff in the game doesn't make it ok to add more obviously broken stuff. Sorry you can't grasp that.
what type of combo do u mean? otk? or playable? or just not your playstyle combo?
let me mention that a possible otk in the original form was so draw luck for the priest. i really dont like when an average dude see a potential otk and alarming that too op.
My only gripe is the wording. I keep thinking it should read like one of these:
I hope they revert the change at least when it goes to wild. Every other effect except echo (or anything that can go infinite) was not broken with this card, but now a lot of combos have been made worse just to enable 1 new card to be costed at 3. Bad blizzard
Why was this downvoted? With voodoo doll it was a 2-card vilespine slayer with +1/+2 stats. Now its potential use is only in OTK decks and with expensive cards, which you don't want to waste anyways.
