Dalaran Wing 3 Unlocked! Priest & Rogue Heroes Now Available
The third wing of the Great Dalaran Heist adventure has unlocked and with it, the arrival of two new heroes!
- Krizik is a Priest hero and it is an Arrakoa.
- Captain Eudora is a Rogue hero and she is a a Vulpera.
Each of our new heroes has 3 hero powers like the first heroes available in the adventure. They both start with their basic class hero power unlocked.
This Week's Wing Is Chapter 3: Streets of Dalaran
Each chapter has a special passive mechanic called Twists. These effects are active during all your games in that wing and will change up how you play against each boss.
- Crowded Streets - You can only play four minions on each side of the battlefield thanks to three spots being occupied.

Watch the Third Wing Live
Myself and RegisKillbin are going to be playing through the new content. Check it out if you like!
I had a similar experience with the 1/4 summoner. Finally get him down to 7 health and I just need any minion to stick until my next turn and I'll win. Then he lays down a 42/50 lynessa with divine shield, taunt and lifesteal. Game over.
So save a silence or hard removal against that last boss for Lynessa.
Made it to Jeppetto on heroic three times now with Rogue. First time was definitely a mediocre deck and I had gotten lucky. I quickly lost to him. Second and third times were very strong decks where I basically just toyed with the 7th boss. I still got defeated easily both times.
I'm thinking that maybe I need a heal priest where I play almost no minions, and set up a board where all he can do is ping me 4 each turn with copies. Fatigue him.
Looks fun. Happy to have some time this weekend to play it through :)
I love new heroes, I want them in pvp. Kriziki has amazing hello and best Wow emote ever (Slay the Spire fan here) Ka-Kaw!
Vulpera has so cool British accent, oh, and her Hello too very cool, all this Salty and ship things.
I was happily playing the new chapter. And then I reached boss 7. Its Haro-Setting Sun. Then it struck me. The realisation.
I’ll have to fight this fucker in every single wing.
Oh, and Aki is really... fun too.
The golden pack = 300 dust minimum (4 commons x 50 = 200 + 1 rare = 100 )
There are a few unique bosses per chapter, and you have both the combination of decks and hero powers to test out, plus the treasure passive choices etc. After last chapter you should have anomaly mode.
You get 15 packs of ros those cost already 30 bucks so if you do it just for packs only that is worth. The golden pack is worth 260 dust minimum so it's worth around 5 packs.. So packwise you get 20 packs of worth. The last chapter is also extra challenging
Heroes feel exceedingly silly and childish tbh.
But I like how they implemented minor expedients and yet fully give the impression of a deep setting, like the carts on the board, to represent being in the Streets of Dalaran.
I just wish we could impersonate half-serious heroes, not secondary characters from cartoons...
Couldn’t agree more.
Warcraft has always had an element of the ridiculous. There has been some seriousness, but it has always trended toward the cartoony. Hearthstone even more so.
Some heroes borring, yes, but Priest, Rogue and Sham is ok. Snake is not cool in voice lines, but looks pretty cool. If you about opponents, some 100% agree, but some from WoW lore and you can t give them more serious, if they are just merchants. I think, in last chapter Kalecgos, Kadghar and other cool chars will be better than this.
I actually like the opponent's from lore. Like the Haro Setting-Sun I have in my avatar, or the goblin barber girl. They feel like cool characters, fitting in a fantasy magical city, possibly with some potential depth behind them.
I could definitely take some vulpera or stuff like that in my encounters, as opponents or stuff, I can also take ridiculous stuff happen ofc, but IMPERSONATING cartoonish animals that seem to come from a Disney movie, that I can't take, sorry.
It's actually something that never happened in Warcraft, despite the amount of ridiculous stuff, it's never directly attached to the player.
So far only the Arakkoa and the Gnoll are decent Hero characters, imo.
When I want a serious characters in a fantasy setting. I go to *squints* hearthstone. The goofier version of Warcraft, the goofiest high fantasy world.
"half-serious". I wrote half-serious.
Just, you know, characters, classic characters in a fantasy setting.
Not humanized silly beasts out of nowhere. That's it. Just it.
Pretty simple tbh...
All the henchmen heroes are lore consistent to their various races from wow.
So wait, we will need to finish all acts with all characters, for get 2 cardbacks?
Yup, wasn't it obvious? 9 heroes x 4 chapters x 8 battles + (9 heroes x 12 battles in 5th chapter) = 396 battles on each difficulty, so at least 792 battles to get both cardbacks.
You get heroic cardback just for beating all 5 wings on heroic difficulty not beating 5 wings on heroic difficulty with all 9 classes.
Bbbut I'm still saving gold for 2nd wing... FeelsBadMan
Happy to see that Bartender Bob is still with us.
