Head on over to our brawl forums to talk about this week's Tavern Brawl.
Just played last game with
and
I was assuming by the name, this was a battle between Roger and Reall. I feel trolled.
This brawl is one of the best in awhile. My favorite decks so far are:
Druid:
Living roots, power of the wild, jade blossom, branching paths. you either jade druid them or token druid them. Usually you pick attack off the branching, but it’s nice for armor in some matchups. Mill druid works too of course, but this deck is more fun imo.
Rogue:
Quest (LUL this is to jebait), novice engineer, jade swarmer, lab recruiter. Smart people ban the swarmer, but you can still complete the quest even if you don’t start with a hand, just save a novice and recruit it on 4.
Hunter:
alley cat, spring paw, timber wolf, scavenging hyena. They always ban hyena, you still win with timber wolfs, always keep the cute cats.
Priest:
shadow accendent, mind blast, radiant elemental, power word shield. Not sure what the most optimal mind blast priest is, but this deck is pretty good. You don’t do so well if they ban radiant and play control, but you can cheese some games with this. The mind blast is kinda a jebait and you really want them to ban it. people fall for it a lot.
Mage:
arcane missles, black cat, cinderstorm, babbling book. no baku odd mage EZ. you really want to: book, coin cat, into cat with this deck. It’s great.
Shaman:
jade claws, tunnel trog, totem golem, jade lightning. GGs. Jade lightning can be switched for almost any shaman card to get the W, but this version is pretty gross. They kinda have to ban claws, but I think trog is the correct ban.
Warrior:
Its pretty hard to build warrior, but I’ve won games with: bash, shield slam, drywisker armoror, bring it on. It’s pretty meme, but wins vs aggro (except perfect discolock) and vs mill druid if you ban naturalize. Its pretty much make your opponent concede warrior, which can be fun.
for Warrior:
Eternity Rover
Frothing Berserker
Blood Razor
Kor'kron elite
they usually ban the frothing berserker or Kor' kron elite either way keeps you alive long enough to build something huge or hit face every turn.
If you a low budget player and don't have wild cards, this is standart cheap deck you can try.
Your opponent most likely to ban Scavenging Hyena, but that's what you want.
Great Brawl, and a chance to have fun with my favorite class and archtype, Disco Lock! Amazing as aggro or control!
I am doing quite good with this deck!
Malchezaar's Imp ,Soulfire, Shriek, High Priestess Jeklik
Yes this was a very fun deck to play
I got a deck with Firetree Witchdoctor, Wyrmrest Agent, Drakonid Operative and Duskbreaker. Lots of wins, but I’m still deciding between witchdoctor and Netherspite Historian.
Murloc Tidecaller
Grimscale Oracle
Bluegill Warrior
Murloc Tidehunter
All neutral, so you can grab those golden hero portraits
Thats not how it works...
I just got my Golden Priest using this list Thanks!

Really had fun playing this type brawl
I normally hate having to design a deck in wild brawls (especially with all the veterans out there) but I have to admit, I am thoroughly enjoying this one. I have been plowing through the winrates without having to look up a guide, and that really brings back a bit of Hearthstone magic for me. A simple, but creative brawl. Btw, I’ve been using the following deck, please tell me what you think, as a budget rookie like me could really do with some feedback:
Class: Paladin (Arthus of course)
1x Grimscale Chum
1x Murloc Tidecaller
1x Rockpool Hunter
1x Murloc Warleader

(To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone).
What I love about this deck though, is the number of people that ban Tidecaller and Warleader, while the Rockpool Hunter and the Grimscale Chum is where the real spine of the deck seems to be.
I had a lot of fun (and an easy fast win) with
Eternity Rover
Bloodrazor
Frothing Berserker
Kor' kron Elite
The Warlok went to the Disco, and decide to Renounce the Dark ways :p
Having a lot of fun with ### Brawl Deck

Too bad Truesilver Champion restores 2 and not 3 health, or i would have used it instead of Chillblade Champion.
I've had really high success running
Edwin VanCleef
Pogo-Hopper
Counterfeit Coin
And Shadowstep
Most of the time people have jumped the gun and banned Pogohopper, resulting in a smooth T1/T2 10/10+ Edwin, but even if they take your Shadowstep and Coin you can throw out some monstrous minions fairly quickly.
That was almost what I ran and I had the same experience, they go for the hoper and its VanCleef that ruins them as a first turn drop.
Oh the bait, lol
