Vote For Your Favourite Community Created Textually Equivalent Cards
It's time once again to vote for a winner in a card design competition.
This week, we asked you to design two cards that had the exact same text.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- You must design two cards from different classes with the exact same text.
- Requiring Battlecry/Deathrattle/Inspire/etc. on a minion means you cannot put the same text on a spell and have it count. Inner Rage and Cruel Taskmaster do not have the exact same text.
- Hero cards are similarly banned, as the Hero Power keeps the card as a whole from being the same.
This Week's Finalists
Out of 90 entries, we've whittled it down to 12 of the community's favourites. Check them out below and then head on over to the voting thread to vote! Any additional tokens will appear in the voting thread.

Romeo and Juliet is seriously one of the most clever creations ever and is thematically perfect too being given to the 2 classes that steal from others. Very well done, sir. Bravo.
Wait... Warlock's hero power does 2 extra damage? (3rd row, 2nd card)
Edit: But then, it is a 5/4 for 3 and you can always not Life Tap while it's on the board.
Gotta agree, bad design. The value of a turn 3 5/4 is more than the value you'd get by playing a 2 drop and tapping.
Just thought of something... Imagine this card paired with Bloodreaver Gul'dan.
Or after gaining control of it as priest: This card + Soulpriest + Lesser Heal (or Shadowform). And it's odd cost, so it could go in a Baku deck.
Cryptic lantern should cost 2, otherwise it's too powerful, it also goes too well with Grave Shambler.
What? It's a 1/3 weapon with the option to summon 1 mana wisps for the turn. It's pretty alright but compared to the other 1-mana 1/3 weapon "Sir annoy-o's hooter" That protects your board for an entire turn. It's quite mediocre.
I think that echo makes it dangerous.
You're wrong
Does playing a weapon when you already have a weapon equipped trigger the first weapon's Deathrattle? I suppose it should, but I've never made a deck where I could try it. Otherwise, echo is worthless.
what?
Sometimes people ask me to name the greatest album that I've ever heard.
I quickly answer "talk talk laughing stock" and see smiles on their faces and then they ask me a question.
P.S. Hope u understand.
Man imagine being a shaman and getting Romeo and Juliet off an evolution 😂
Why would Hunter want to pay increments of 2 mana to add coins to their hand?
For some otk combos, i guess. You know, maly hunter was a thing a bit.
It doesn't matter if it's hard to pull off. What counts is that IF you pull it off, it's an extremely uninteractive loss.
It does matter! I don't mind playing against a meme deck that goes for the Romeo Juliet combo. I'll even laugh if they succeed! Same thing with the evolve combo potential, if it only happens to me once or twice a year but I get 14 free wins off of memers trying to pull it off it's not a problem and for the ones trying. Having something that's a challenge could be quite interesting.
this is ridiculous, this is like the hardest thing to pull off ever. first, you have to add Juliet to your deck, then you have to fight priest, then you have to get incredibly lucky and grab a Romeo. how on earth is that not restrictive enough?
Clever and the best in the bucket. Unplayable, though. One would never play the card, fearing the opponent can steal it and win the game. So, basically, it's a dead card in your hand that you keep until one of those random spells gives you the other card. Totally unrealistic.
Just pls....do not destroy that thin line in similar comments below using your axe, Sir.
The last one is hillarious
