Blizzard's WILD Off-Meta Deck Spotlight - January 2019 [Mech Hunter, Fatigue Warrior]
Since this month is wild month on the ladder for the Hearthstone wild open, Blizzard posted a couple of deck lists that are performing well but aren't so meta up at the legend level.
Mech Hunter
This Hunter deck combines the mech synergies of Goblins vs Gnomes and The Boomsday Project, to create an aggressive, mechanical monster. Galvanizer and Mechwarper allow you to quickly play out a whole hand of Mechs, giving Metaltooth Leaper a board full of bots to buff. If this doesn't help your automated army close out the game, Jeeves serves up a way to refill your hand each turn and keep the engine running!

Fatigue Warrior
If a slower game is more your style, this Warrior deck adds a twist to a familiar strategy we've seen in the past. Using Brann Bronzebeard and Coldlight Oracle, this deck looks to run its opponent out of cards while refilling your own deck with Dead Man's Hand. If things start to go wrong, Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is available to offer up some automated assistance, and sets up for a final punch from Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. Praise Yogg!

I would like to know from wild players if Highlander Priest is competitive enough for ranked and which tier it currently is.
The combo variant and dragon variant are, in my opinion, both tier 1 or high tier 2 because they both have insane matchups against Even Shaman. Usually when I play between ranks 5-legend, Even Shaman is about 20% of my games.
Reno priest (using Spawn of Shadows) is currently a Tier 1 deck (depending on the user). Use it after you clear the board and rejuvenate with Reno.
Please cluesspug, could you provide a link to any of this decks? Totally miss/forgot wich kind of archetype are you referring.
thanks guys, i'll check it up
Let me see if i got the deck right:
Set up Raza the Chained + Shadowreaper Anduin as usual then Emperor Thaurissan into Spawn of Shadows + Mirage Caller + cheap spells to deal 10 damage / hero power OTK?
I feel like it is more a tier 2 deck. Tempostorm's meta expectations were not quite on point this time so for Rank 5 to legend at least it just misses reaching that precious tier 1.
i was having a decent success with that hunter list last month, just added Deathstalker Rexxar, cuz why not? :p
Dang, i thought i'd see some cool wild decks, but only 2 and 1 of them isn't even off-meta ... And the 2nd one has Yogg, which isn't the safest craft, especially for an off-meta deck.
The second list is soo bad
I mean anythings off meta if it isn’t big priest or even shaman (in wild)
So Odd-Rogue is "off meta" then?
Sure. In wild the majority of decks is big priest or even shaman.
there are probably as many odd rogues as there are even shamans, especially higher in the ladder, but still it's a boring ass mode nowadays until Barnes and baku/genn are fixed, which will probably never happen
Sad, but it's true
I told you they care about wild, kappa
Mech Hunter is not off meta.
Mech Hunter is not off-meta in Wild?!
Banner has Yogg... You have my interest
I love that they've done a post about Wild, but if they really looked or talked to a few of the more interesting Wild streamers they could find much more interesting decks than these. When Boomsday came out everyone and their mum was playing that Mech Hunter list, just because it has dropped off for a few weeks doesn't suddenly make it an interesting off-meta deck. The warrior list looks like normal DMH warrior but with a random yogg and a few sub-optimal cards like unidentified shield. I mean, I love yogg but just adding him to a meta deck doesn't make an interesting off-meta deck imo.
Personally for an "off meta-spotlight" I'd have decks like Big Rogue, Reno Hunter, maybe Jade Rogue, even if they had to look outside their usual '30 wins at legend' criteria for the sake of a more interesting selection.
