Very strong for priest
I think ppl are seeing this card by the wrong angle. Instead of putting this minion as a defensive tool to protect your minions, this let you attack with minions with low health that would otherwise die from the trade and survive it.
So you're saying it makes gurubashi chicken playable?
It's definitely statted correctly for the effect - that is, you want this card to be heavy on health to keep adjacent minions alive longer. I like the idea of it keeping my Zilliax alive longer or possibly drawing out some hard removal prior to the end game for my control decks. But that five mana cost is going to drive some hard decisions.
so its 5 mana, save your minions from taking 8 damage total. It might be good if you have a snowballing threat on the board like a vicious fledgling, Hench-clan thug, or questing adventurer which you can benefit greatly if it sticks around for a turn or 2 extra. So I predict it could be used in some odd decks as an early game minion protector. Won't be as good as Giggling Inventor pre-nerf, but it might do a reasonable job. Plus it can block damage removal like eviscerate or lightning bolt or aoe which Giggling couldn't do.
Anti-Defile detected
this guy gets it
When I first saw the card I thought it might be too situational to be good. But you just supplied me with the "oh damn!" moment. Put this bad boy next to your 1 health minions and you're immune to defile clears (as long as they don't happen prior to turn 4).
even 2-health minion is quite enough to prevent 3rd tick
I swear, Allie has the best reveal videos.
I do really like how she actually gave her honest opinion of the card and said she thought it wouldn't see play, rather than other people who try to hype up an obviously bad card.
That said, the card actually could be useful when paired with Taunt minions.
That Divine Shield interaction is kinda interesting, wouldn't have realized it worked like that.
Worth taking a look because of making valuable trades with units that you would like to keep alive much longer but you need to have minions on the board to make value of it. If there will be place for that card, I would give it a try.
Reminds me of bolf.
What happens if you put two of them together?
That's a good question
Bolf Ramshield v2.0 :monkaS:
It won't see any play at all. Just pack filler
This cars is nice if near it there is a Taunt minion. Basically all Taunt minion next to it can have +8 health.
I disagree. I think this is quite an improvement over Bolf Ramshield, but it probably still won't see play.
Funky doodle dandy! I think this is a pretty neat card.
