This can be a solid pull for Call to Arms decks
Don't underestimate free taunts that appear on board out of nowhere ;)
Why do I see this as being an aggro tool rather than anti-aggro?
Bad card that many will mistake for being good. Tar creeper is far superior and even that isn't good enough for many decks. It's too low impact for control decks and too inconsistent in aggro/midrange. Stick to cards like doomsayer and wild pyro if you want to counter aggro
ye its not like there were a card similar to it that was good! ouu wait... Wyrmrest Agent

Even decks can't run tar creeper, also 2 mana 1-2/4 is generally pretty good for protecting your minions like maybe flametongue totem
Really glad they're printing some anti aggro tools. Screw zoolocks.
It will not always work against aggro decks on two. Even then I dont tihnk its strong enough. Id still chose Tar Creeper over this because on 2 you can fit hero power on curve.
Hero power is rarely better than playing an actual card on 2. Even the upgraded hero powers are technically worse than the equivalent cards (i.e. Odd Paladin vs Lost in the Jungle) - although with odd decks hero power on 2 is almost always the right choice to preserve the better card for later. With regular decks using hero power on 2 is basically admitting to your opponent your starting hand is crap. The main benefit of using a hero power is that it's consistent and better than having that mana go to waste.
A lot of control decks hero powers on 2 yet wins. Your board clears substitute early game minions ;P
Boomsday is arguably the combo/control expansion. at least until the nerfs.
Edit: though to be fair... the first of its kind.
I don't know though... I find if zoo has to toss a soul fire at a minion there's a high chance I'll win against him.
Silverback Patriarch, my bro, did I hear you weep? Don't look at those flashy Stonehill Defenders, Squirming Tentacles, Tar Creepers, Phantom Militias, Twilight Geomancers, Belligerent Gnomes that show up now and then (did I miss anything?), you are the real beast.
Bronze Gatekeeper, Crypt Lord, Fierce Monkey, Gnomeregan Infantry, Hot Spring Guardian, Druid of the Swarm, Druid of the Scythe.
Druid of the Scythe, Druid of the Swarm, and Fierce Monkey being beasts as well xD.
hmm buffs for even shaman
Everyone who says that this won't see play doesn't remember Wyrmrest Agent. This will definitely see play and I will be using it in my control decks
i will continue playing odd rogue if they keep releasing cards like these...
Doesn't have the BEAST tag which is worth more mana than everything in the entire game.
I do not understand the argument here?
Also harambe
card sucks, moving on...
may see some play
