All The Pre-Order Hearthstone Bonuses From BlizzCon 2018
There were a few different bonuses Hearthstone fans can obtain thanks to things at BlizzCon. We've got them all in one easy place for clarity's sake.
- Note that the Rastakhan and Warcraft III card backs are not yet available in-game due to the client needing a patch.
- The client should be patched this week with both missing card backs.
- Also it is worth mentioning that Destiny 2 is free for everyone with a Bnet account. Must claim it by Nov 18th through Bnet Gifts.
BlizzCon 2018 Virtual Ticket
Not really a pre-order but the Virtual Ticket can still be purchased if you're interested in:
- 10 Hearthstone Packs (2 each of WW, KFT, K&C, UNG, Classic)
- The Blizzard 2018 Card Back
- Items in all of Blizzard's other titles. See here.
Virtual Tickets can be purchased for at least a couple weeks after the event, so you've still to some time to decide if you want the card back.
Rastakhan's Rumble Pre-Order
This is the big one! Like The Boomsday Project, we've got two pre-orders available for this expansion though they've done it a bit differently. Instead of having the second pre-order being expensive, there is now a low-end option which allows you to pick up the card back and some packs.
Challenger's Bundle [Store]
- "Ready to Rumble" Card Back
- 17 Card Packs
- Available for $19.99 USD
Rastakhan's Rumble Bundle [Store]
- New Alternate Shaman Hero: King Rastakhan
- "Ready to Rumble" Card Back
- 50 Card Packs
- Available for $49.99 USD
Warcraft III: Reforged Pre-Order
Whaaat? Not only is this game coming out again super amazing (incredibly biased, yup) but if you get the "deluxe" edition for an extra $10 (base is $29.99 USD), you get goodies in some of Blizzard's other games. For Hearthstone, we're getting a card back.
You can pick up the pre-order over on the Battle.net shop.
There's also a bonus bundle that gives you a Virtual Ticket with the deluxe edition for a slight discount.
Oof, that virtual ticket card back is sick! Shame it’s behind a pay wall.... :(
Agree. Nicest one I've seen in a year. Everyone loved that lemonade one. I thought the BlizzCon back was gorgeous and was a little sad that it was attached to the virtual ticket that I had no interest in paying for.
Jobs are good, m'kay
Why should some 1 B required to have a job in order 2 play a F2P game?
They shouldn't. It's whales like u who feed coperate greed that make things everyone should have locked behind ridiculous paywalls.
Because that is how card games work, both physical and digital. You pay in order to gain content.
People who have jobs are whales xD Lol things everyone should have. That is not how card games work. You're meant to progressively unlock content.
Then again, all I see from your posts is you whining because you don't have money to spend on the game. Perhaps you should get off the internet, get off your lazy ass, head to the nearest warehouse and start emptying some containers? You should be capable of doing at least that...but no, wait, that requires effort, doesn't it?
Sure isn't a free to play game. It's a company that is FOR PROFIT.. not a charity. Be happy they allow it to be played for free. If you were smart you could do very well without spending any money.
You go to work at a full time job for FREE and maybe then you would understand.
But most of your comments get downvoted so at least you are consistent, sad, but consistent.
when will there be info on new cards? (Rastakhan's exp.)
Oops.
I mislabeled the card backs on my end resulting in the wrong pre-order card back being displayed. Sorry about that, the issue has been fixed.
At least there isnt a 80 dollar bundle this time.
There is no golden legendary too. Unfortunately.
$80 bundle was actually a better deal than either of these two.
So good I bought it twice. Lesson is to make sure of what region you are logged into first.
Maybe better deal with what they gave, but $80 is too much for this game honestly.
What is the problem with 80$ bundle. If you want it, buy it, if don't dont buy it. There was 50$ bundle as well. Or you worry for the people who gave that money? Actually if you want to buy more than 100 packs both pre orders was cheaper than buying 50 euro bundle pre order and 70 euro regular price for 60 packs So on booms for 130 euro you could get 130 packs. Now for 120 euro you can buy 110 packs. What is better? And why didn't you mention in your post that there was 50$ bundle as well which include golden legendary? Actually I prefer golden legendary than some useless hero.
If have the option I will trade all my card backs for a single classic pack.
Allow me to add some constructive criticism then fanboy. It's shitty of Blizzard to spread out Hearthstone related items to games that some of us have no interest in, and it's even shittier to know that Blizzard won't make them available again. Thanks for playing Hearthstone everyday, this isn't for you and you can't get it ever again through any method that might suit some members of the Hearthstone fan base a little better. Is that how the world works? No, I don't think it is. Just look at a game like Mario Odyssey that gives everyone the cosmetics because you play their game and support them. Blizzard is money hungry in the sense that they put making money before pleasing their player base. Only companies who are up for the golden poo award operate like that. So no, that's not how the world works. Was that constructive enough for you? How about you add something constructive next time instead of a snarky comment. Practice what you preach.
You are incredibly wrong if you're calling me a fanboy. I have been incredibly critical of Hearthstone and have even used this platform to state so which isn't something many people would do in this position.
Your comment doesn't at all surprise me considering the history you have on the site in your short 3 months here.
Did you just take the time to reply to a guy who's totally mad because he can't get his hand on a measly virtual card back and compared a Pay-To-Play solo game to a F2P multiplayer one? Boi, that's one dedicated staff right there :))
Mate, your message condemning snarky comments loses a lot of its potency when you yourself come across as a frustrated 15 year old.
Onto your point about a Blizzard's operating mode, it's hardly a new one is it? Each Blizzcon ticket gives attendees in-game items and WoW Collector editions have been cross-pollinating across other Blizzard franchises for years. Ditto the latter Star Craft Collectors versions. Anyone who's been interacting with Blizzard for any length of time will know this. It only becomes more pronounced as this occurs across more games, including remasters. In the Hearthstone case, Khadgar is an example of a reaaal bad promotion, which I believe is unfair. Everything else they've put out is fair game.
A far more brutal fact is that Blizzard is in the game for the money. No one's making you purchase these additional games are they? If you do pick up games just for the goodies they give you in HS, than their business model clearly works. Manchester United or any of the large UK football clubs don't need to reward game-day attendees because there's so much demand for season tickets from all over the world. Would they care if I surrendered my ticket out of price protest? Highlight unlikely.
How is this constructive. You've insulted Blizzard, told him to practice what he's preached (that being constructive I guess?), and complained about Blizzard's greediness. It's true that Blizzard has had horrible PR the last couple of years and that they've been notoriously greedy in how they've handled lootboxes in OW and in other games under the Activision Blizzard name. However why do you feel the need to insult Flux? It's not like he's forcing you to buy it, or even promoting people to buy the bundles and throw more money at Blizzard. He's not perfect and the site certainly isn't perfect, but it's not like he's actively trying to ruin people's days or ruin this site like someone else on this site. Typically the point of constructive criticism is to point out something the original person could not tell, and considering that he's one of the lead people behind the site, it's kind of hard to notice issues that aren't glaring problems?
Call me a fanboy or whatever, I just think Flux shouldn't have been dragged into it that badly.
