Hearthstone Patch 12.2 - New Dailies, Hallow's End, Welcome Bundle, New Keyword, Bug Fixes
A new Hearthstone patch has arrived that makes preparations for the upcoming Hallow's End event, introduces new player ranks, a new keyword, and more!
- Casts When Drawn is a new keyword (phrase really) . Could this mean the next expansion will make more use of it?
- You can buy the new welcome bundle now to get some Classic packs and a Legendary dragon.
- Hallow’s End begins October 17 and lasts through October 31.
- A golden Witch's Cauldron is being given out for logging in during Hallow's End.
There's no 100% confirmation the Blizzard Events is the BlizzCon card back, but their "mystery" image in the patch notes has a BlizzCon logo in the bottom right corner. If it is the BlizzCon card back, the description is incredibly misleading. I recommend not buying the virtual ticket until they confirm the reward if it is important to you.

Thanks for your answer i couldn't find any reference and I didn't notice this post! I bought the bundle and I was thinking about to keep it. But as I understand the new classic cards will be only 4 or am I wrong? If there are only 4 I will open the packs!
As far as I understand, 4, yes. 3 commons and 1 epic.
Has anyone datamined how much the Sir Annoy-O bundle will cost? I know I really should know better, but I really want that stupid goofy thing
Would love to reorder my decks from the moment I started playing Heartstone. How hard can it be to implement.
Witch's Cauldron isn't a crazy card to receive for free but the fact that it's a golden epic is definitely generous of blizzard.
It will be a free 400 dust to lots of players.
When the new classic cards will be released?
Consider this:
When a basic card is nerfed, you likely have all the means to compensate for it. New players start with crap like Warsong Commander, Starving Buzzard and Charge and have to open better stuff first. You maybe got to enjoy the days when many basic cards were pretty solid. They never will.
When a card goes to the Hall of Fame, you can either reap free dust or craft them (golden) without losing dust. New players can never, ever open these cards in packs again, and they can't craft them for free anymore either.
If you ever play Wild mode, or a Tavern Brawl like the last one comes up, you can actually enjoy using old cards because you had the chance to get packs for all those old expansions, and maybe you even got to play the adventures. New players have to dump several hundred dollars for that, either buying old content with money directly, or buying new content with money to get all the dust for crafting old cards. C'Thun still can't be disenchanted or crafted, making him a card that can ONLY be obtained by new players when they pay at least a few dollars.
Not to mention, how much stuff you got from promotional bonuses, like free packs, card backs, hero skins... Back in the day, everyone got the first Wing of Naxxramas for free, then you had to pay 700g for it, and now you have to spend money for it.
And I'm not even getting into detail how 22 Classic packs are not doing much to give you a chance on the real ladder or in casual.
This should tell you that new players need all the help they can get, and that the developers never considered to retroactively give you things you missed out on. The game never treated all players equally, in that sense. At the very least, this should not be a surprise to you.
Can anyone confirm if you have all classic dragons that you are guaranteed a golden one? if that is NOT the case - I guess the best strategy would be to disenchant one dragon and then buy the starter pack.
No, you get a normal one
no you don't ... I think its safer to disenchant one before.
I have all the Dragon Legendaries and didn't get one after the purchase. I already contacted the support but all the guy said was that I received but just can't see it because of some misterious reason.. (probably just wanted to get rid of me)
O shit seriously? This is a bug!
Blizzard said that you will get another not golden, it's very strange this
If you are only missing 1 of those listed are you guaranteed to get it?
Naxxramas: Instructor Razuvious’ Massive Runeblade weapon now correctly deals double damage to Heroes.
Funny, I experienced this literally last week cause I decided to get through all heroic adventures for the card backs.
Cast When Drawn refers to the spell it's printed on rather than the the card's effects. So for Flame Leviathan, Cast When Drawn would not be appropriate since the card is a minion and you don't "Cast" minions, they are played or are summoned.
Leviathan acts as a battlecry when drawn, you can't cast a battlecry.
If the legendary rule works for this new bundle, you should get a golden version of one of your dragons.
Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to buy it before it's confirmed. Or if debunked I want to d/e a dragon before opening the packs.
You get a normal one
IF - We often use if to introduce possible or impossible situations or conditions and their results. The situations or conditions can be real, imagined or uncertain:
Children downvoted me like I said something wrong when in fact it was only assumption xD I guess it doesn't work but kids can't explain this in the reply.
I’m pretty sure you receive a golden version of one of them :)
