Hearthstone Card Balance Changes to Come After the HCT Playoffs
Blizzard has announced that a balance change patch will hit after the HCT Summer Playoffs conclude. The playoffs are finished at the end of May, so we don't have too much longer to go!
No specific changes have been announced, though Iksar has mentioned some problematic cards.

In the weeks after The Witchwood, the Hearthstone team has been avidly reading your feedback and monitoring data at all levels of play. We agree with your concerns, and we’re planning some balance changes after the HCT Playoffs are finished at the end of May. We’re not quite ready to share the details, but we’ll provide an update once the specifics are finalized.

Cheers!
Dont cry baby. You had waited for a long time now calm down and wait for a bit more :D
Is it a good idea to hold off from crafting new cards till we hear the changes?
Well, if you craft a card that they are nerfing, you will be able to disenchant for full dust value so you shouldn't be worried about that. However, you might craft a card for a specific deck, and if a different card that is necessary for the deck is nerfed enough to ruin the deck, you might waste your dust.
im gonna do some predictions don't hate on me please
Paladin:
there are 3 problematic paladin decks currently Murloc - Even and odd paladin, so the nerfs should hit them all, baku and genn should not be touched because they have a fair effect on every other class
Warlock
this one is really hard to predict, the problem with it is that it can cheat out Voidlord early in the game or play Doomguard without discarding cards through Kabal Lackey + Sacrificial Pact mainly or skull of the manari and then slamming that Bloodreaver Gul'dan and hopefully not get a board full of Voidwalker
Quest Rogue
i believe shadow step will cost 1 mana probably
A shadowstep nerf would kill the class to nerf one other card in the class. It would oddly be a buff to Odd Rogue.
at least they are going to do something.
For the love of god.... Buff Something!
there's a borderline of how much power a card can have. anything that goes over it is a problem, the other cards are not. thus, buffing cards would be almost completely pointless in blizzard's eyes. also its incredibly difficult to try and make a lot of the cards playable each expansion
Some cards never ever ever see play and your saying don't buff them. How the fuck does that make sense. Blizzard may be the worst card company when it comes to balancing their own game. Nerfs come way late and when they do come cards are usually nerfed in to unplayable. Then Blizzard has unplayable cards and never buffs them. When it comes to balance I hope they get a different team asap they just don't seem to care much for what the community wants or the value of ladder.
If nothing else i hope to see Call to Arms cost 5.
I personally think making it recruit 2 minions is a better long term solution. Otherwise non even decks will still have massive swing turns just a turn later and it can still be a powerful draw engine at the least. Making it only pull 2 minions lowers its power level to the point that it isn't oppressive but still effective in most pally decks since at the very least you improve your draws.
That's far too long to wait. We have already been living with these terrible mistakes for five months now, some of them even longer.
I can't even express how disrespected I feel as a player.
Ya way too long. Just do it.
No information, just a super vague timeframe for when there might be some.
Tournaments could so easily have a different patch on them but instead they use them as a weak justification for not fixing the game sooner.
The most frustrating part is, not having the obscene cash this game demands from UK/ EU users, I can't afford to craft more than a couple of decks tops each expansion. That wouldn't be an issue except if I craft key legendaries for a deck and then other cards get nerfed into the ground killing the deck that's a lot of wasted dust.
Really feels like a serious change is needed in how this game is managed. The fun I used to get out of it is buried under a lot of frustrating decisions these days.
Spitefull summoner better be on that nerf list.
