Nuba's Warrior Control Deck Building Guide
Nuba is back with another one of his fantastic class deck building guides! Nuba's Ultimate Warrior Control Deck Building Guide discusses all the cards that are essential to Warrior Control, and helps you fill out the rest of your deck with several other complimentary cards. If you're interested in getting into the Control Warrior archetype, you'll definitely want to check out Nuba's guide.
Nuba has included a base Control deck with the guide, which can be found below, to help you get started on your warrior control adventures. The deck clocks in at 10300 Arcane dust, quite a steep price to pay but it's certainly quite an awesome style of play if you can afford it. Be sure to read the full guide for more information to get started hitting things in the face with your Fiery War Axe and Shield Slamming into your enemies.

Naxxramas Development Updates
Aratil made a couple of posts this evening to clarify the pricing delay and also gave us a bit of insight into where the team is at with Naxxramas. The pricing announcement was ultimately delayed due to a miscommunication, and the team is hard at work fixing bugs with the adventure, but all major implementation tasks have been finished! They're close!
Quote from AratilPricing Clarification
There have been quite a few questions regarding this, so I'm going to try my best to answer it here.
Adventure Mode is a completely new thing for us; in fact, Hearthstone itself is still quite new. There are a lot of factors to consider when determining pricing and we want it to feel accessible to newer players as well as obtainable by players who do not wish to spend real money. This requires not only a lot of research on our part, but also a lot of back and forth on what could work and what won't. In fact, it took us a while to even determine that we wanted to separate the Curse of Naxxramas Adventure Mode into different wings.
With that said, when I originally announced that we were targeting to announce Naxxramas pricing details on July 1st, I did not realize that we were still going through one last round of internal review regarding the pricing details, so you can definitely blame that one on me. We're close though!Polish & Bug Fixing
Took me a while to find out the answers to this question, since I don't directly have access to this information. We recently just completed all major implementation tasks and are now working on polish as well as some final implementation items.
Our primary focus now is on bug fixing and getting the game ready for ship. The team has fixed over 200 bugs just in the last week alone, and new bugs continue to be discovered. After all of the identified bugs have been addressed, the game will still need to undergo several rounds of quality assurance tests to ensure that the game is ready.
Stuck In-Game / Unknown Opponents Bug Update
If you've been having issues with reconnecting to games that appear to be frozen, there's been a fix!
Quote from RolkyrWe have recently put in a fix that should help to resolve the connecting to a "dead" game against Unknown Opponent issue. With that being said, I wanted to clarify what was addressed.
The fix was to address players getting put back into games that were not valid. A player would usually get a black screen or a frozen opponent, leave the game, then upon re-entering, constantly get placed back into the same game over and over. Now when leaving the game, after the re-connect time is no longer active, you should be placed back into a new game.
This bug deals with the connection issues players were facing in this situation. If you are reconnected from a game and your opponent is shown as "Unknown", this is working as intended. There are a few things Battle.net side we jump you past when reconnecting so your opponents information will no longer show up.
If you are still experiencing connection issues related to this, PLEASE put in a new issue with details of what you are experiencing. Once again, thank you everyone for the patience as we addressed this issue :) Cheers!
Site Navigation Update
We've updated the site navigation today with a creepy spider for Naxxramas! We'll be adding more content to the Naxxramas drop down as we publish more information, so don't forget to check it out! We'll be posting major updates on the front page though, so don't worry about missing out.
That price structure is so gimmicky it's insulting.
I'm worried about the pricing on this. I imagine Blizzard can figure out how much they want for their content moneywise. It is the gold option that is new to them. Too easy to earn: no profit. Too hard to earn: P2W! I fear they will take the all too common F2P strategy of setting what dollar amount they want people to pay and then inflating the gold equivalent to untold proportions. They need to not forget that people still need their gold to continue unlocking the cards that have already been released. The game is still very new, high gold price points could easily dissuade new casual players from taking interest.
However, there may be hope for us. They have been talking about how this process is also laying the groundwork for future expansions. They could easily set a lower price point and then rely on their ability to release expansions more quickly. This would also give less warning for people to start hording gold. By having realistic gold costs and relying on more content they would effectively snip a lot of community grumbling in the bud. I feel as though it can be either: "This game is P2W! I can never get enough gold for everything!" or "Man, all this new content has drained my gold reserves. Guess I'll spend some money!". I certainly see an option I like.
If you look at the way Blizzard has the card packs priced you can see 100 gold is "worth" anywhere from $1.25-$1.50. I use "worth" lightly because that pricing honestly doesn't mean anything. I imagine they will price differently for the expansion. So, with all my rambling out and about...5 wings, first and last free (more like the cost of these two wings are reduced and slipped into the other three's pricing). I will hazard a guess of $8.99/1000 gold.
I will be wrong. I will come back to this post and shake my head at my ignorance. Until then, time to lose to some Miracle Rogues. The bastards.
tl;dr: Don't f*** up the pricing Blizz. I'll guess $8.99/1000 gold per wing.
There is an unlimited quest re-roll time period and you can for sure get 60g quests 100g ones sometimes never show up so you can earn a lot more gold then that :)
also you can play arena ;)
Some recent rumors have suggested that each wing will cost approx 1000 gold. However, you would get the first wing for free. On the other hand, because of the uncertainty, i stay steady at 600 gold and play arena when i'm above 650.
My guess is at 600 gold! something else would be a surprise
I do not think tha tthe pricing is going to be enourmous. Them want it to be accesible for new players. Means the pricing should be something atainable for them. To save 500-600 gold per wing is okay for new players, i would be highly suprised if it is going to be something more than that.
Correct me if I am wrong, they do want price to be easily accessible for new players "who pay real money". They also want price to be "acceptable" for players who pay gold.
Nope. I read it that them want it to be accessible for players who start the game. Means that even new players should be able to unlock those wings with gold, without giving them the feeling that they can not advance without real money usage.
A Free to Play game, where you have the feeling that you MUST pay real money to advance demotivates really fast. Blizzard tries to prevent that and is in search for a "good number". You need to take into consideration that newer players use their gold for card packs. To store 500 gold can be really long and annoying and might lower the motivation.
Personally i am saving 2k and everytime i got 2150 i go for an arena (either to increase my goldies or just enjoy a fun run with dust pack/cards) so yeah i am staying on that level i think 2k is fine for saving for Nax. Greatly appreciated that they are giving us some insights if i could guess i would say in the next 2 days they will announce pricing.
And next wednesday Nax will be released but that's my assumption that i based it in absolotely nothing!
2K will probably buy you 2 wings at most.
That update was greatly appreciated
Blizzard is trying to set a price that most players will voluntarily pay real money. A price that's too expensive by gold but surprisingly cheap by real money could just do fine.
Hopefully they can work hard and have Naxx ready before the end of the month. The hype is to big at this point.
i know the feeling, feels really close now though :)
Naxxramas, I can almost taste it.
There's still time to backtrack on that if you'd like. ;D
"After all of the identified bugs have been addressed, the game will still need to undergo several rounds of quality assurance tests to ensure that the game is ready."
This doesn't feel close to me.
Tastes like disease and poison
