Curse of Naxxramas to be Released in July, Pricing Announcement July 1st
It's happening. Aratil announced on the forums this evening that the Curse of Naxxramas Adventure should be released during July. When during July? We'll leave the speculation up to you; Just remember, patches tend to happen on Tuesdays. Weekends are out of the question!
Quote from BlizzardJust wanted to give everyone a head's up that we are currently targeting to release Curse of Naxxramas during the month of July. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of implementing and bug fixing to get through, so please stay tuned!
With that said, we are also targeting to reveal pricing details regarding Curse of Naxxramas next week on July 1st, so please keep an eye out for that.
Make sure we get the best prices anywhere.
2k is fine price but i think it will cost 5k.
I'm really hoping that the expansion doesn't cost to much irl money, I would be quite upset if that was to happen.
Then pay in gold.
Wow I'm so dumb why did I think it would be free?... /goes home. GN.
I'm pretty sure that they've said that the first and last parts will be free. You unlock the last part by beating the four before that. You can pay for each "part" with gold. Start saving. :3
I dont understand why a a lot of people think Nax has to come out at a start of a season. Naxxramas has 4 wings, that will open in 4 weeks(!) + frostwyrm lair another week or it gets opened as soon as you beat all other wings. So no matter what you do, the time difference between the first wing's cards and the fourth wing's cards is at least 3 week.
Also: what does it matter if a season is chaotic due to Nax release, adaptivity is one of the skills required for a card game. Less net-decking, more thinking is the name of the game.
I thought there were five wings... Military, Plague, Abomination, Arachnid, and then the Frostryrm Lair, with Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad.
If it were released on July 1st, then it would be released within one month July has 5 tuesdays there are 5 wings, Im not saying that it has to start at the start of a season but it makes sense kinda to have it released all within one season... although it won't
It doesn't matter. Every player is on the same playing field. Cards introduced in the middle of the season will have the same effect on every player. The hardcore will rush through the PvE content, and they'll all be constructing decks with those new cards to compete with each other. For the casual player it matters even less.
It's not like some people are getting access to the cards earlier than other people. Everybody gets access at the same time. So the impact is equal across the board. If someone decides to slowroll through the new content, or they don't have enough gold to pick up a wing before other people, then tough sh*t. That's not Blizzard's problem.
I am really excited about the pricing. I still have a feeling that Naxx might be released beginning of August instead.
Ok, i am satisfied, we can all stop rioting now. Plz everyone lower your dongers ノ(ಠ_ಠノ) its going to be OK.
But, but, can't I leave them up a little longer?
I finally understand. There is no technological problem with Naxxramas as they say. It's simply world football championship will end on July 14th.
Blizzard as usual, is cunning about their market strategy. I should have seen it earlier, I ignored how football match will impact Naxxramas sale but it seems that Blizzard has attached a great importance to that. Blizzard will avoid time conflict between Naxxramas and World football Championship as much as possible. So, when the final match is over, Naxxramas is on.
They probably have this pattern fixed months ago. Maximum profit.
Additionally, WoD announces beta at the heels of Naxxramas July blue, what a coincidence.
And just when my vacation ends.... *sigh*
I knew more news had to be coming soon, now that the weekly, class card teasers had been exhausted.
so excited about the prices...
Well, at least one of Blizzard's teams can keep up with their projected release schedule :-)
Come on July!
The gummi bear is coming right at me D: *cower in fear*
