Naxxramas Card Recap
With the addition of today's card, we're now up to a total of 11 known cards from Naxxramas, 6 of which are class cards. Check out the previously announced cards below!
We are doing to see some interesting play with duplicate.
I am waiting forward to seeing that once in a lifetime 7 secret at once look. This is the closest I've gotten http://i.imgur.com/f8luS1j.jpg :D
Haha. Nice.
Them lepers be burning, 2 lepers = 4 damage , 2 duplicates = 6 lepers = 12 damage (without those bad boys going for the face), mage burn/face deck is looking viable
So 'Token Druid' must love these cards. my god.
What does a mage card have to do with token druid?
I would imagine we will see Avenge in the recent Shockadin decks when it's around.
This is a card that I feel like isn't something that is broken and can be played around, if this secret were to put them on the field immediately that would be amazing
I tried to think in ways that card would be efficient but are so few.... 3 mana to play a spell that can be returned as a form of 2 minions... Even with this my opponent have time to think and time to prepare for it after the secret has revealed and probably will expect and think in ways to deal with it. I expect so much of the mage card... I'm dissapointed. Of all card classes revealed until now this is the worst one, and also a very slow card.
Yay for more mage secrets to remember! Anyways, I'm not really liking how much blizzard is focusing on a single mechanic so much. I feel like Deathrattles will have more synergy than any other mechanic.
For now, that is...
I don't immediately see a use for this in the current meta, but it is interesting because it makes the mage secrets a lot harder to play around:
Obviously, this card would work best in some kind of slow control archetype where the mage has a bunch of high-value minions, but that's not really a thing in the current meta. The dream is probably to get two giants back and then play them for free. Antonidas + duplicate is probably okay, since you'll get at least a fireball and if your opponent doesn't have a hex or polymorph but can kill Antonidas with damage, you'll still have your win condition in your hand.
Also: In mid-to-late game arena where both players are trying to get a card advantage, cult master + secret is going to be awkward to play against no matter what else the mage has on board.
I feel the opposite, that this will be the best in a rush deck where you have more cheap minions. Cause really, what minion would you not want more of in a rush deck? More Leper Gnomes, more Mana Wyrms, more Water Elementals. More of all minions is pretty cool for the mage.
But i guess the issue then is whether you even have time to play the secret. It's kinda slow. Though... i guess it's kinda like playing an arcane intellect, but you only get two of a minion on your board. Fascinating.
can be just sick!
So when Cairne Bloodhoof dies, you have a Baine Bloodhood on the field and two more Cairne Bloodhoofs in your hand. There is a limit to how much removal and answers your opponent can have.
man first shamans now mages priest need need some way to counter that many 4 attacks :D
Priest will get new spell: Shadow Something - 3 mana, kill minion with 4 attack
Why would you wish something that terrible on priests. What they need is Mind Sear. Better AoE options other than having to rely on multicard combos would make priest significantly better than it currently is. If 4 attack minions are giving you fits, here's a tip. It's called Holy Fire. It may be six mana, but very few 4 attack minions can survive it. And if Ysera is causing an issue for you, it's called Mind Control.
and if 3 cairne and 3 baines are causing trouble for you it's called?
