Team SoloMid Acquires MaSsan

SoloMid, an esports team which started out in League of Legends, has announced the beginnings of their very own Hearthstone team. The first member to join the TSM Hearthstone team is none other than Harry "MaSsan" Cheong. MaSsan is one of the more popular Hearthstone streamers and legends players in Hearthstone and has previous roots from competitive Starcraft II, which he stopped playing when his monitor broke. Hearthstone has been growing at an astounding rate since last year and is currently the 3rd most popular game on Twitch. The competitive scene is flourishing thanks to the large amount of tournaments available. Last year’s BlizzCon Hearthstone Innkeeper Invitational received 100,000 viewers for the finals.

We believe in the future of Hearthstone and are looking forward to expanding in the scene.

ManaGrind Announces End of Tournaments

ManaGrind, one of the original competitive Hearthstone organizations, has announced this evening on their Twitter account that they will be ceasing to run all tournaments after this week's Friday Night Swiss. If you're interesting in participating in their last Friday Night Swiss, more information can be found on the event in this forum thread.

The European Friday Night Swiss will be at 7 PM CET on May 23rd, and the North American Friday Night Swiss will be running at 8 PM EDT also on May 23rd.
