2018 Hearthstone Championship Tour - Toronto Tour Stop Survival Guide
The fourth tour stop of the 2018 Hearthstone Championship Tour has arrived! Taking place over three days this weekend, 256 players will play through a Swiss bracket with the top 8 cut going on to Single Elimination Playoffs.
The event offers a $15,000 USD prize pool, with the top 32 participants getting at least $50, and 4 HCT points to help send players to championship events later in the year.

HCT Toronto Tour Stop Format
- All matches will be using the Standard Format.
- All matches will be played with the Best of 5 Conquest Format.
- Each player brings 4 decks and gets to ban 1 opponent deck.
- Top 8 Swiss Stage advance to a Single Elimination Bracket.

I am a bit surprised we had no announcement for the announcement so far, like "make sure to watch the playhearthstone channel on twitch on mm/dd/yy 2 pm PST".

Posted Mar 9, 2018 (Patches Nerf)This is correct. Those tournaments are directly organized by Blizzard whereas the tour stops seem to have various organizers. Additionally, I don't think it would be feasible to have a Choose your Champion in a 200+ player tournament like this one.
