Looks like they're going to have to nerf Leeroy Jenkins and a bunch of classic and basic cards across all classes to fix this. It's all the basic set's fault here, and definitely not a certain purple worm and his friend the charging pirate.
that actually sounds like something they would do....
For record's sake, we know when people go through and mass downvote decks. You're breaking site rules and will receive a warning which will lead to a ban if you continue the behaviour. If something isn't for you, move on with your life.
Is it fine to mass downvote your comment?
it looks like the best card from KaC was Patches the Pirate
Their team name sounded degenerate and their decks were pretty much that...
I don't blame them, I like them and watch their streams...It is just sad how pitiful the meta is at the moment, hearthstone could do so much better.
But it was Team Love U Lots...
A bit too early to call this the meta. Seatstory is in a few days; that tournament is known for massively shaping the metagame. I don't think anyone should expect the game to be instantly figured out within a few days of an expansion release. Of course aggro has a strong showing; aggro decks have always had strong representations at the birth of a new meta simply due to the inconsistency of most decks. In about a month or so, I think more controlling decks will make their mark, especially a burn mage build that takes a slower approach.
Lets hope so. It's just that I watched Reynad's video today and was really hoping that it was not 100% true but then I saw the this and got all depressed xD
7 out of 8 decks are pure aggro cancer. Nice meta!
Corridor Creeper meta incoming!
I play one standard match a day now and stick to Dungeon Run the rest of the time. Its cool they figured out these decks in such a short amount of time, but really these decks are all cancer and just made the meta cancer again.
AGGRO TEMPO AGGRO TEMPO AGGRO TEMPO
Everything they did was so smart. Their ban strategy was brilliant. The deck building was brilliant.
It will shape the beginning of the meta for sure. (It already has.)
They just brought All Aggro with a few new cards people weren't teched for and banned their worst match ups...
Right - which is smarter than what everyone else did. That's why they rolled everyone.
I haven't played a single Standard game, because I was too busy enjoying Dungeon Runs, but seeing those ugly cancerous aggro decks, I don't even want to play standard anymore.
