New Warrior Legendary Weapon Reveal: Woecleaver
A new Warrior card has been revealed by ahqEsports. It was given to them as a secondary reveal since Blizzard's Hearthstone Latin America Facebook page posted their reveal early, ruining it.

I think adapt did its job well but recruit doesn't seem too bright for me either
Gorehowl had to be legendary and this one must be epic.
Shame Blizzard, shame !
Big Warrior
What an ugly finger!
You made my evening the worst one I have ever lived.
Shame on you too, with Blizzard !
*Gul'dan pats Garrosh on the shoulder* and whispers "It's your turn now"...
To me, this really feels like something the old, so called "Wallet-warrior" would have used. Half your deck being removal spells, the other half being extremely high value legendaries.
Not sure if that archetype can stand a fighting chance right now, but its definitely something that was made for that control/value type.
because deck thinning is something super valuable? but don't worry one day you'll stop being a total noob and actually grasp the concept.
I am sad to see anyone leave something they like but i am not upset to see the toxicity leave. This card has a home simply based on the control war recruit package available with 90% spells and 10% game winning minions. Recruit a 8-cost minion neutral and this wepon alone allows a warrior to play deadman's hand with Lich King and Yasara and have a great deck. Sure the card isn't great individually but that is the game. Bloomage Thanos isn't great alone but with any low cost spell like defile and you have a 5-star card instantly.
Not every deck will survive forever. That's just how the game works. There are still control decks you can play and do reasonably well with
Feels pretty toxic to me, you want to have a public fit when you could have just walked away. Seeya!
shaman and warrior (som what - weapon - based classes) got the memiest weapons when they needed viable tools the most, talk about adding Insult to Injury...
The Woehammer is Woefully shitty....
I hate everything about this card, from the artwork to the randomness of the effect. It's not about how good it is, it's about the fact that recruit is a boring and uninspiring mechanic to push. Disappointing.
People are like "This is gonna get oozed".
Fellas, this is Warrior we're talking about. There are other things you'll probably want to ooze and I doubt you'll be running several oozes even in this meta, as most classes only have 1 weapon.
No, what I'm more concerned about is: what Warrior deck could possibly want to run this? How can you make a Warrior Deck without putting a lot of small stuff in?
I can think of two ways. Traditional control warrior used to run mostly spells/weapons with big late game finishers like Ragnaros, Alexstraza, Gorehowl (weapon but still helps), Grom+Inner Rage... It was a deck that DID work for a long time.
Second way would be to make a different Dead Man's Hand deck. There is already a Dead Man's Hand N'zoth deck (plays one copy of it to get more late game, not to go infinite) floating around that's not very good. I think you'd want to make that deck work with these mechanics. Throw in your early game and your card draw. Put in lots of removal as well. Aim to draw most or all of your deck while also removing your small minions from the game. Then, you'd have ten mana to play the 8 mana weapon and then also cast Dead Man's Hand. You'd get all of your big minions back into your deck to immediately start recruiting them out. Maybe you swing and pull out Y'shaarj who then pulls out a big taunt minion like Primordial Drake. Then, next turn you drop the Y'shaarj from your hand and swing again. That's pretty crazy if you ask me.
Not sure how good that deck will be, but there is an idea there that I think is worth taking a look at.
So.... um, that artwork. Was the Warrior Legendary forged by Fisher-Price?
It looks less like a Legendary weapon and more like a cheap plastic toy for an infant. I'd comment on it's horrible mechanics, but lets face it, it's not a druid or priest card, so who cares at this point? Definitely not Blizzard.
seriously disappointing in all aspects. they were psyching us up big time with all the control cards being released. then this as grand finale?! ....
lul .Yeah, don't just give them a woefully shitty legendary weapon. Make the art woefully horrible as well.
