...and then they relised Oaken Summons
I dont get why they still print cards for druid, as long as this class still has stupid OP cards like Ultimate Infestation and Spreading Plague. Maybe if those cards get nerfed maybe you could fit something else in druid decks
It's a fair card i.e. will probably not see play in constructed.
I don't believe it will see much play. While being a strong anti aggro tool, tar creeper does the same job for one less mana essentially. While 3 armor is easy to get, and even if it doesn't attack it still does its job, there are just better cards out there. As this card stands, it is just a bit weak to be playable in constructed, however it may be alright in arena.
Sen'jin is so much better than this pile of trash.
"Sen'jin Shield Master is good" is a statement I would never even have thought could be implied or said.
Sen'jin Shieldmasta is by no means a bad card, it's simply outclassed at the moment by Tar Creeper, and it was still being run in some decks as recently as Karazhan if I remember correctly. The only reason it's "bad" is because there are better, non-basic options than it at the moment. Once Un'Goro and Saronite Chain Gang from KFT rotate, unless Blizzard prints another card to compete with it, it'll probably trickle back into play.
Never said it was a bad card....
people are underestimating the power of this card. "It's just shield masta with +1 HP." The 1 hp is a HUGE deal. It's the reason why Twilight Guardian was such a pain to go against. Most removal one would use to kill a 4 drop effectively deals 5 exactly. Like Shadow Strike and etc. As well as the minions that would trade into it. Normally a 3 5 taunt is easily killed by trading 1 3 2 minion in and dealing 2 damage with a weapon, mini spell, tokens, but on turn 4, it's really difficult to do 6 damage on curve effectively. Using a card like Fireball just trades card for card and takes up an entire turn, (not to mention has a lot more potential and wasted on removal). 6 hp with 3 attack can be devastating vs aggressive decks because it eats 2 3s too, and it doesn't matter that it can't attack back in druid, because druid almost always wins in the late game anyway, so applying pressure is irrelevent on turn 4
people run Tar Creeper in almost every single deck...... and that has almost the same drawback as this card. Not to mention that getting 3 armor isn't that hard to accomplish later on. Once you get the DK up, the 5 you get alone usually lasts a good 3 turns before your opponent can hit you.
Saronite Chain Gang is a 4 mana 4/6 technically, Tar Creeper is 1 mana less for 1 less health
Twilight Guardian was a Dragon in a time before Saronite Chain Gang came into being, which is a big distinction to make. Also, one of the strengths of Sen'jin Shieldmasta back when it was played was that it would generally take 6 points of damage to kill unless you were a Rogue, since you'd usually have to trade in 2 3/2's or a Fireball to kill it. Saronite Chain Gang can also pretty consistently be killed on turn 4 with 2 pieces of 3 damage, so I don't think 6 Health really cuts it at this point. If this was even a 3/7 or a 4/6 I think it could see play, but as a 3/6 it just doesn't seem good enough.
Should be 3 mana to be playable - 1 star
He maybe attac
He really protec
But most important
He not in Druid dec
I still don't understand this meme.
Die aggro decks good
Sen'jin Shieldmasta, Shellshifter... I do not see why anyone would play this just for +1health and huge drawback.
Same reason why people played Tar Creeper.
tar creeper is one of the best defensive cards because he is a 4 mana minion for 3 vs the opponent. This has one more health but an restriction? Thats bs.
