You need to have the spellstones in your hand to upgrade. Therefore, the most expensive ones are deemed to be bad, unless they make a good deal even in lesser form (like the Priest one).
All the cheapest spellstones should see lots of play for sure (Mage, Druid and Paladin). The Hunter and Warlock ones seem easy enough to upgrade, have powerful effects and relatively low cost, so they are also going to be played.
The Shaman, Rogue and Warrior spellstones won't make the cut, in my opinion. Either because their effect wouldn't be worth the cost or their decks would be too slow to let it happen.
Well, the Shaman and Rogue spellstones don't seem that powerful. But I think that the Mithril Spellstone is a must-have in Dead Man's Hand Warrior and maybe even Control Warrior. But I think you're right about the remainder of the spellstones, but we will never know until the meta smoothes out.
Shouldn't it be the other way around? The expensive spellstones will likely sit in your hand for a longer time since they are expensive while the cheap ones need to do something if you draw them early to keep up in tempo. Otherwise you have cheap cards you can only use in the lategame and that's usually not good at all, forces you to put more earlygame in to keep up.
New warrior spell is 6mana 1 recruit
New priest spell is already 7mana 2recruit (possible4)
blizzard???
It says resurrect, not recruit. It summons random friendly minions that died this game.
sorry guys, but anyone can help me... The conditions to upgrade the card must be done in a single turn? (just one upgrade in this case)
Nope, can be many turns so long as the stone is in your hand.
Keep in mind the priest spell stone will only resurrect one copy of a minion. You have to have multiple different minions in the graveyard to actually get multiple resurrections.
I, for one, welcome our new Big Priest/Aggro overlords, since at least we'll be seeing a lot less Jade Idols in the coming months.
big surprise, priest gets the best one AGAIN. Ressurecting 2 minions on its own is fine for 7 mana, especially in big priest which is already a tier 1 deck. They actually ran statistics and if you draw barnes on turn 4 with that stupid deck, IT HAS AN 80% WIN RATE. Thats absolutely disgusting, and the deck has room for at least 1 copy of this card. Can't wait for priest to get the nerf stick, it is by far the most frustrating class to play against ever, and every one of its archetypes are boring to play as and super aggravating to go against EVEN IF YOU WIN.
Big priest doesn't play so many different minions, so i am not sure it will even work as well in that sort of list.
Honestly, the Diamond Spellstone actually seems to be the worst out of these three cards. The Emerald Spellstone is by far the strongest, and maybe the Onyx Spellstone may see play in the slower Jade Rogue. But the Priest card requires at minimum two minions to have died beforehand, which Big Priest cannot afford to do. Besides, your argument about the 80% winrate, that ONLY OCCURS IF YOU DRAW BARNES ON TURN 4. If you don't? Well, GG. You just seem salty because your precious Jade Druid is going to be rotated out next year, and you don't have any other brainless 100% winrate deck to play other than Keleseth Rogue.
Big priest doesn't play so many different minions, so i am not sure it will even work as well in that sort of list.
The Diamond Spellstone requires at minimum two or three minions to have died beforehand, and that is something Big Priest cannot afford to do because they don't run that many minions. Also, it says "different" minions, so even if you have, say, The Lich King in your graveyard, it still isn't worth it. Besides, Rogue's Onyx Spellstones completely destroy Big Priest, due to the minimal amount of minions.
Damn it. Big priest will be tier 2, maybe even tier 1. Which means aggro will come back into the meta to counter it.
Haven't you heard of Jade Rogue with N'Zoth? Besides, the OnyxSpellstone serves to entirely to counter Big Priest with their small number of minions.
The Priest Spellstone is epic, or not? Here in Hearthpwn is rare, is a bug? xD
