Decks Assemble is This Week's Brawl!
All of Azeroth wants to brawl for you! Start with a small deck, recruit as you go, then send them to fight over and over!
Trivia
- This is the third time we've seen this brawl.
- The debut of this brawl was on December 2, 2015 with a repeat on February 10, 2016.
- Decks are created as you play the brawl through a Discover interface.
- This brawl rewards you with a Kobolds and Catacombs card pack!
How it Works
- You pick your class that you'd like to play.
- At the start of your turn, choose a card via a discover-like interface.
- When you play a card, shuffle a copy of it into your deck.
- When your turn finishes, your hand is put back into your deck. 4 Cards are drawn from your deck.
Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to our dedicated discussion thread on our Tavern Brawl forums.
Favorite brawl, its just like playing Hearthstone "Deck builder". Its the only brawl I played up to 20 times.
Just do a quick youtube search for DC deck builder and you'll see what I mean.
Utterly horrible Brawl. So many cards are just simply "I win". It's so stupidly random there's absolutely no skill involved in your choices.
Reminds me of Star Realms
Not my kind of brawl..
I actually find it incredibly hilarious some people think this is pure skill xD Where is the skill in me discovering an incredibly overpowered synergistic deck while my opponent discovers garbage, or vice-versa?
Its comparable to arena, I think - you have to make the best out of what you're given.
Pretty fun brawl. Really good for F2P players. Questing Adventurer is the MVP in this bawl.
Deathwing trust me
got it in 2 games and played it like 3 times in both of them
if you get Deathwing and can play it, it's autowin :D
I found the idea of this brawl to be terrible. I found the experience of playing this brawl the complete reverse.
I can see how some games would go on a while, but most of my games are over by turn 4 or 5, either by my opponent conceding or me conceding. This is one of the quickest brawls (aside from the bloodlust brawl).
Played whit mage against a druid, both whit DK. For the first time ever, I had a game that stalled. After 1:30h of swinging turns from one side and the other, bot hero exploded. I was at full life, and he had like 30 armor left...
Got a Warlock vs Warrior game where my opponent just picked a bunch of armor gain and turtled up whilst I memed it up with a bunch of Renounce Darknesses (that, keep in mind, do not decrease the cost of your newly un-Warlocked cards in a Brawl where your cards are generated from the deck, not drawn, like this one) and Elise the Trailblazer into Un'Goro pack that just made my deck incredibly inconsistent (since the 5 random cards end up in your deck one way or another). We sat there for literally over an hour just inneffectually plinking at each other: I had too much board control for my opponent to do anything, my opponent was gaining too much armor for me to effectively do anything. At one point Weasel Tunnelers got involved and our decks became full of the critters. The game ended over 40 turns in, when my opponent playing an Explore Un'Goro around ten turns prior caused his deck to become essentially garbage and I could finally start getting rid of his life total. I don't know about my opponent, he wasn't emoting at me at all, but I had the time of my life. The first twenty minutes were pure mayhem as all the random effects meant I had no idea what was going on, and I was laughing my ass off basically the entire time. After that it actually became quite an interesting skill-based game, since I kept having to come up with crazy answers for the big threats that my opponent managed to make a large proportion of his deck into. One of my absolute fondest experiences playing Hearthstone pretty much since Beta. My one regret is that my opponent conceded when I set up lethal: I was planning to set him at one health and then concede, or to run out the 50 turn timer and get us a draw.
I fatigued.....
Well, as soon as your opponent starts to play those Deathwings turn after turn, you should consider to call this bullsunshine ;-) and just concede
worst brawl ever, i usually like random stuff, but this is just ridiculous, you dont have any control over the game, just pray for the heart of the cards to get good RNG and actual playable cards.
1 of the best brawl ever that really require skills and thinking , RNG is there ya of course but can be played around it. An good advice for people who complain and cry about the RNG : Stop hearthstone and go play chess , it would be better than waste your time to post a negative , usless and stupid crying note. By the way, i wonder also in the same time what you are thinking about poker games , only RNG 2 ? (let me laugh). It's time to question yourself , you sure finally understand nothing about cards games. For all those who understood me , have fun ;)
This brawl reminds me of a Jeeves that never stops. Because at the end of your turn your hand is filled to a servant amount of cards.
This strange moment when you realize you're there just for the free pack and you're not having fun... and forget about it in a week's time to play the next brawl with a strange feeling of Déja Vu...
