On a Budget? Check out this No-Legendary Dragon Priest Deck!

StanCifka is back with another deck guide to teach you how to better yourself at Hearthstone. Today we're getting insight into a tweaked Dragon Priest deck which is friendly to dust budgets of all types. If you've been collecting cheap, popular cards for the past few expansions, there's little left to craft.

General Gameplan

You are playing a fair game with your opponent, gaining some value with Northshire Cleric and Netherspite Historian and controlling the board with Tar Creeper and some removal. And suddenly you realize that you managed to stick a high toughness minion on the board, and your opponent has only 30 lives so it’s time to kill him with your combo package!

Priest has no better 2 drop and landing a 0 mana powerword shield on radiant elemental early is insane.

Have you ever played divine spirit inner fire priest? You can combo out Power Word Shield, Shadow Visions, Divine Spirit, Inner fire for less than half the normal mana cost. Radiant Elemental should be pretty much auto-include in any build of non-big priest right now.

You can't craft them unless you've unlocked them, or the adventure is in wild. But then, unlocking the card also rewards you 2 copies of the card (1 in the case of legendary).

Well to be fair pity timer for legendaries is 1/40, which is 40 packs aka 4000 gold while entire Adventure costs 2800 gold. So it is a budget deck and you get exactly the cards that you are looking for. And on top of that 2800 gold is not even that much, it's like a month of farming for a 1-2 years of playing with those cards.

Anyone who is playing on a budger should focus on buying the adventure wings first anyway so it's budget from that perspective. So you're comment is pretty much invalid..

Sorry bro, but to completed the adventure for every F2P players, should be a must and the first thing they do. The cards value for gold is too high that it's impossible to ignore it. But sure, you can complaint even for the decks with 2000 dust value, but it will look funny.

2100 gold for cards that are unusable in standard 5 months from now isn't that great value.

Nothing against StanCifka, but some people here on HearthPwn give themselves fully to making a deck and writing it up, and yet they get no recognition by HearthPwn. StanCifka seems to just be the only guy that HearthPwn really cares to show any love, and it would be nice to see a change. Lots of people would appreciate the publicity, and some of those are really quite fantastic at deck building and guide writing.

Highlighting your own communities content is a recipe for success. You could group 3 or 4 of the best 'HearthPwn deck write-ups' into a news post. It would literally hurt nothing and be a win-win for everyone.

Nothing against people here on HearthPwn making a deck and writing it up, but StanCifka is currently ranked #3 player in the world and #2 in Europe (http://www.gosugamers.net/hearthstone/rankings).

Sorry but you can't really be surprised or indignant, if he gets more visibility than even the best HearthPwn users.
