- Death Knight Hero cards can no longer be drafted in Arena.
Starting on the morning of Tuesday, November 14 PST, we will remove the nine Knights of the Frozen Throne Death Knight Hero cards from the Arena draft pool. While the Death Knight Hero Cards are exciting and powerful to play, their permanent Hero Power upgrades are hard to combat in a format where answers are limited.
We will continue to monitor Arena balance and make changes on an as-needed basis. Please note this change does not remove Death Knight Hero cards from existing drafted decks. For a complete list of cards that are not available in the Arena draft pool, please refer to our Arena Specifics forum post on the official Hearthstone forums.
and ultiLuL pls
How about Ultimate Skillfestation?
and bonermare?
Only took 4 months!
Blizzard is strangely listening to our complaints and fixing them... Dream?🤔
DK were broken and now Arena will be more a little balanced just a little
Better late than never. But there was needed no superior mind to understand that they've should never introduce DK into Arena in the first place.
Verry good change. Would like it even more if all Legendarys would be removed but o well its a start. Also would like Epic chance drastically reduced...
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the change. On the one hand there are some Death Knights which are flat out broken in Arena, mostly Anduin and Jaina. On the other it is not impossible to beat them (though very hard I'll admit) and this kind of banning sets a somewhat odd precedencce.
Fledgling, now DK, people already calling for Bonemares and Scalebanes... The question becomes: where does it stop? Even if most people agree on what cards are overpowered I still think Blizzard needs to be careful with the Banhammer. Generally speaking I'm leaning more toward banning class cards as every class has access to the neutrals.
It is what it is and I'm sure there'll be a little less tilt every now and again, even though one wouldn't recognise that fact, as the HS players like the Salt too much.
Losing the game to a 3 mana cost minion if not having the perfect answer (which in arena happens most of the time) was just stupid. Fledgling needed to be banned or nerfed.
Where does it stop, you ask? There are a few broken cards that win you the game on the spot in the Arena. You're acting like the game has lots of these. It's enough to remove all the brain-dead cards like Bonemare, Cobalt Scalebane and UI from the Arena to save this game mode. But devs don't care, and when asked about that OP rubbish, they just say that it's not too impactful statistically. Yes, if a card causes huge swings 90% of the time, it's "statistically not impactful". I see their point.
"Arena is being removed from Hearthstone" would be the headline i was looking for (jk)
although i do not even play Arena, since it simply is a complete RNG-clown-fiesta to me, this change IS good

Just remove cards that noone would ever pick anyway, not good cards. I am very unhappy with this even though I dont play arena
My opinion about Arena is: it should be an ability challenge more than a lottery.
Every gamer should have a fair chanche to win, and the newcomers should have the opportunity to learn and experiment.
What about giving the players 2 options: a pre-made recipe random (random balanced deck and charachter) OR a draft?
I feel that anything pre-made would ruin the point of arena. yeah there is a learning curve but so is there for everything.
If anything they could try the pre-made recipe thing as a taveren brawl, and if they want to give it a arena feel just put a 150g entrance fee (after the first 1 free)
Having the legendary in the beginning compared to the end matters a great deal in the direction you will pick cards
