Creating and Taking Corpses - StanCifka's Prince Rogue with Corpsetaker
Stan is back with another deck guide to teach you how to better yourself at Hearthstone. Today we're getting insight into a Prince Rogue deck which makes use of Corpsetaker, an interesting card which changes up the archetype in a fun way.
You can follow StanCifka on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
General Gameplan
This is one of those rare decks I play that's not trying to make it to turn 20! This deck is very solid in early and midgame instead, applying enough pressure on control while being good enough to defend against all-in aggro decks. You just play your strong cards, take control of the board early a go from there!
This deck has no big sweeper, so you need to fight for the board all the time, and if it slips away from you you might have a hard time taking it back.

You are putting so many cards weak for the corpsetaker to be effective in paladin you need to put less cause you have burnbristle and tirion anyway but here rogue doesn't have great use of DS as paladin has (buff cards)
you took out shadowsteps and part of the pirate synergy for this, which is stronger.
also adding cards like stormwatcher adds to the deck most frustrating trait: draw RNG "oh I drew patches, and stormwatcher"
I played tempo rogue quite a lot, the draw RNG of keleseth and patches is quite enough that you don't want to add more than it.
I like that you are trying to be creative but it just doesn't make any sense in this deck (at least theorywise, I tried to do something similar in shaman with alakir and the 3/2 WF in wild and it didn't work so well)
I think it's pretty pointless to try to change anyone's minds here. most people here seem super close minded/not competitive and most also hate tier 1 meta decks so kinda pointless arguing with them. it's honestly hilarious like hypno was 2nd to legend in rat race with corpsetaker build and that was with an even more unrefined list(2x stormwatcher and 1x saronite chain gang).
also seems like stan's decks are heavily promoted on here so people are sick of that aspect too.
alright, will give it a try, don't believe it's stronger than the current tempo rogue version though.
I said it's in theory looks weaker than the pirate package with shadowsteps which is really strong as I played the deck a lot, but removing some pirates makes it less vulneable to galakka crawler which is a plus, and I just yesterday played DS keleseth corpsetaker paladin for a quest and actually had good results.
with people teching *2 galakka crawler in every none keleseth deck (And 1 in priest) actually makes sense having a higher win rate I guess... if not for that as I said the pirates are better.
if u think about this deck right corpse taker wtf would u want that garbage honestly!?
when you can have prince valanar there's not other 4 drops besides those 2 cards so you can still do heaps of other things don't waste your life with this crap deck honestly.....
atleast valanar instead of corpse taker gives you a heal which helps heaps
The supposed "guide" links to the handbuff paladin deck you highlighted last week. Please fix the link
