... That card art is AMAZING.
I feel like this card could have been auto-include in Goblins Vs. Gnomes era, but that Hearthstone has mostly just moved on. The other 2-drop minions you'd put into a token deck today just seem a bit better. IMHO, this compares favorably to Lance Carrier in an aggressive deck, and Lance Carrier saw a bit of play back in the day. If a new player pulls this from a pack, sticks it in a fast deck, it's not that terrible.
Definitely a playable arena card, doesn't seem strong enough for constructed.
Its the Shattered Sun Cleric pre-nerf mana cost but instead nerfed -1/-1 in stats.
pre-nerf Shattered Sun Cleric was a 3/3 cost 3 give minion +1/+1
Many classes do not have decent buffs like some decks do ( Crackling Razormaw, Kabal Talonpriest, Rockpool Hunter ) But it will work fine. One less mana is more important than you can imagine. Watch the aggro paladins/ zoolocks be great again... Wait, why don't they use Dire Wolf Alpha ?
Very bad card, crackling razormaw usually has a bigger battlecry than +1+1 and this has 2 less stats in total. A 2,1 body for 2 mana just isnt strong enough
obviously Crackling Razormaw is broken since it's a class card only limited to hunter
And is also limited to beasts.
And there was no point in disliking this post since it turns out this card is shit that no one even looks at. It's a conditional 2 mana 3/2 which definetly is not worth it.
It's not that bad. It can be a solid pick in arena in the right conditions and has some synergies. Not that bad honestly but not nearly fit for the meta.
so incredibly broken---this will define the meta for years to come.
"watcha guys playing?"
"Fallen-Sun-Clericstone."
i'm pretty sure you play this in a divine shield based paladin, you can even buff it with steward of darkshire
My favorite card so far because am a sucker for hot Blood Elves in questionable clothing. Next expansion - One Night in the Den of Mortal Delights. Make it happen Blizz.
Surprising this card hasn't been well received, it seems custom made for Paladin to take advantage of with four, 1 mana Divine Shield minions.
Synergizes well with Steward of Darkshire
My prediction: will see a bit of play in paladin constructed(aggro divine shield perhaps? depends on the rest of the set), probably be a favourable pick in arena, the extra 1 health is very often the different between a trade and board control, especially in the early game which can determine the match. Not a game winning card but certainly helping.
Extremely boring, uncreative card... Why waste a slot that only gives only 5 stats for 2 mana? Are you really out of ideas already Blizz?
Not even sure that it is good in Arena...looks pretty poor without a 1 drop, or if your 2 drop gets killed, No room for value trades when you are behind
I really like this card, especially for arena but zoo decks will like it too!
I'm disappointed because Brodie specifically said they won't be doing filler cards that are renames, undead or fallen versions that are reprints like in old gods.
But we keep seeing them. I hope all the filler isn't exactly what Brodie said they wouldn't do. I'd like some new and interesting neutral mechanics.
It's not good for Arena. If you don't have a turn 1 play, this card is basically dead card. Compare this card with Rockpool Hunter even without the buff Rockpool Hunter is still playable on turn 2 and it can easily stick on the board. While this card gets shit on by Mages and Rogues hero power and with cards like Elven Archer i don't see why would you ever pick this card in arena. 2 mana 3/2 with condition just wont cut it.
Arena thats it
