Theoretically it should right? Same goes for the Animal Companions like Huffer, Misha & Leokk.

I mean it depends highly on what beasts do you play right?

IF (!) you play e.g. an Elemental-Hunter or something like this and the only Beasts are Savannah Highmanes and Infested Wolfs, that's Intstand Value of Hell.

(I for example play a lot of N'Zoth-Hunter, would work pretty good in this Deck!)

As we all know hunter likes it's alley cats and unleash the hounds or even the rats from rat pack so bad card

This card is horrible.

1st: it's not a beast

2nd: it doesn't have taunt or even soft taunt effect

3rd: it has a very big chance of bringing back some shit like jeweled macaw, alley cat, alley cat's token, the evolve raptor, pack rat's token, etc., as they count as a beast that died in the match.

If it had taunt, at least it would bring something at the the time it hits the board.

I've played a whole lot of control hunter in the last month and this card has ZERO place in a hunter control deck.  You know what control hunter needs blizzard?  It needs a freakin reliable way to HEAL so your garbage all aggro meta can finally get balanced out.  There are so many better drops at the 7 slot i am trying to think of even a single reason why you would play this incredibly bad card?

I agree with Wilsbourne on this. The card is theoretically really good, but I don't think it can make control hunter good by itself. It needs more removal effects and survivability to work.

Ye card has insane value, you know which hunter class has insane value too? Call of the wild, but its too greed and too slow, nobody runs it, same with this card. Too slow, too greedy, low impact for board. People love overrating hunter cards...

 It can give you Highmane, but 50% or more it won't.

Back in Whispers, Midrange hunter ran Ram Wranglers, because of the possibility to summon King Krush or other really powerful beast, but sometimes, it fucked you over and you got Angry Chicken instead, so people removed Wranglers from the deck and replaced them with Stranglethorn Tigers. Because getting ALWAYS 5/5 is better than sometimes getting a 8/8 charge.

And that's exactly the case with this minion.

More like trying to creat control hunter, only aggro and tempo/mid range variants have been competitive.
