Pro Decks for 2017 Americas Spring Playoffs
These are just a handful of the participants this weekend. We'll be adding more decks in should other faces advance to the finals.
Where to Watch
Tune in to all of the action on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel and discuss the tournament using the #HCT hashtag on Twitter and Facebook.
Where's VCT and DiegoDias lineup???
I've now added the decks of the missing Top 8 players to the site. They will be on display in a result news post later but you can already find them here.
Amnesiac and Chakki are running the same lineup, card for card. Great minds think alike or premeditated synchronicity?
they work together to make their decks.
Another large update and our last one. Blizzard sent us over deck lists and we went ahead and picked out more players bringing our total count of decks to 136, or 34 players.
This may actually be our largest decks post for a tournament to date.
If there's other stuff people want to see with tournament decks, like our graphs and common cards, lmk. We're always open to ideas.
Hunter looks like it will fall out of the meta with Warlock
It will always see play just because it's an easy and cheap deck
Wouldn't it be more accurate to say class cards like Brawl are in 17 out of 20 decks considering non-Warrior decks won't have that card in the deck? I feel like it is misrepresenting how prevalent certain cards are in the tournament.
Ceteris paribus sic stantibus, 17 out of 20, or 17 out of 100 is still 17 decks containing said card. It is only missleading if you never played HS, in which case: what the hell are you doing on a Hearthstone dedicated community website? ^^
It's possible I may change it to where we do a Neutral breakdown of cards and then a Class breakdown. It's a bit of an organizational nightmare though so nothing is set in stone right yet. It is something I'd like to iterate on though!
Thanks for the update!
Huge update: We've added in more decks and will likely do so again.
Thanks Flux! :)
RIP Warlocks
I'm pretty impressed with the diversity of decks here... and the fact that there's only one pirate warrior is nice!!
Get ready for Ant to be top 1. Hoej won Europe with whole aggro lineup, so I'm not be surprised if something similar will happen in NA
Decks have not yet been provided to us by Blizzard so what you see above (as of posting this comment) is decks that have been provided by the players themselves.
I hope we can get the rest of the lists and pick out the best players to update this article with more information to devour. I suspect we'll have an update at some point on Wednesday or Thursday. The post will get re-published on the site at that point to let you know that we've made a large update.
Hey Flux, just a tiiiny little typo on the big bold text:
Notable Player Decks From the 2017
EuropeanSpring Playoffs & Event Survival GuideEuropean should be changed to Americas, got so confused when i read it :P
I would never copy and old news post to re-use formatting and miss something like that /s
Thanks, it's been fixed!
