Low Budget Un'Goro Decks for Standard
Looking for some decks that aren't going to break the bank? We've rounded up some of the best decks on the site that come in at below 1100 dust that you can take to the ladder. We've also included alternative decks with higher crafting costs if you want to see what similar decks look like from the same style of play.
We've made notes of the current dust cost of each deck below. These could change over time so for the most up to date dust count, check out the decks themselves.
Midrange Hunter - 1040 Dust
You've probably seen this one at the top of the site for the past week, and there's a good reason for it! This deck is amazing and will easily take you up to the rank 5 if you get some play-time in.
An upgraded version of this deck brings in a few notable differences: The Black Knight, Rat Pack, Golakka Crawler for those pesky Pirates (if you encounter them), and Tol'vir Warden.

OTK Priest - 960 Dust
Bonus points for no Un'Goro cards? ExParrot has been playing deck around Rank 11 by using the draw powers of Northshire Cleric and the old school Inner Fire Divine Spirit combo to slam opponents.
If you're looking for something similar, but using much more dust, the popular Purify + Lyra Priest is your go to.

Egg Druid - 1040 Dust
Do you like your eggs Runed or Napped? How about a side of Bile? The deck has been taken up to Rank 7 by Tomas13CZ and wants to obtain a board full of minions which get buffed up.
Want something more extreme with some similarities? You want straight up aggro druid.

Elemental Shaman - 920 Dust
Hope you've opened a decent number of Un'Goro packs because this deck has a ton of Un'Goro commons. In fact, everything that isn't a basic card is from Un'Goro! You're going to want to get your board flooded with minions and follow it up with a nice Bloodlust.
If you've got some key Gadgetzan cards available and the new Kalimos, Primal Lord, you should check out Kolento's take on Elemental Shaman.

I started a second account yesterday and built a nearly full viable token druid after 3 hours, all I am missing is patches, and I opted for several epics. I did this with no money spent. It is not that hard to create better decks than these on a budget, and these often take cards from the adventure, which is actually like 2 weeks to a month for a casual f2p player of just saving gold. I love making the game more open to new players but some of these "cheep" decks, will still alienate the new players.
Also my goal is to reach legend for the first time with that token druid by the end of the month, wish me luck.
provide the deck list or it didn't happen
You have to unlock an a wing of One Night in Karazhan to get [card]Arcanosmith[/card] for a card in a budget deck, seems like an oversight.
EDIT: As Daxter279 mentioned you also have to unlock two wings for Kindly Grandmother in the hunter deck, did anyone check these decks before posting or just did a dust sort and put up whatever looked viable at rank 15.
Latter.
I certainly see your point, and it occurred to me when I decided to call the deck a "budget deck." However, Arcanosmith is only from the first wing of Karazhan, and as a F2P player who has completed every wing of Karazhan, I figured it would be a reasonably cheap addition. 960 dust and 700 gold isn't too bad for a rank 11 deck!
That Midrange Hunter is awesome. Best of them.
I dont see a zoolock,
Great thread! Such a good opportunity for all those f2p players to enjoy the ladder!
The average pack has over a 100 dust on average, even if you did 100 dust = 1 USD that would mean the most expensive deck is $11 USD or 10.28 Euro. Good luck finding a budget deck cheaper than that in mtg, especially when you don't get 3-4 packs (ie. 120 dust min) for free each week.
Some of these decks have a content from adventures, so he's right. Not sure about exact price, but dust cost is nothing if you should buy an adventure.
I wonder if it's even fun when you have to play a deck knowing that it's just a weaker (cheaper) version of a good one?
It is not fun, just salt, and even more salt when you lose to Quest Rogue.
yeah I can imagine.. I think I would rather splash 100€ for packs before playing a budget deck cause no cards = no fun
but no cash = no cards :D
I disagree with that. I actually had more fun when i had less cards because i tried a lot more to make my own deck with my poor collection. The more cards you have the more tempting is the netdecking.
But I started back in GvG, I bet the experience of new player might be horrible now with all the expansion in the game..
yeah i will try this decks, but Hemet says: NO! ... pssst: i will do it...
TY very much.
black knight in hunter Kappa who writes this...
it made sense in the first 4-5 days of the meta, when there was a lot of taunt warrior, elemental shaman, quest priest, etc. even the mirror w/ nesting roc. just a whole lot of taunts in general. but it shouldn't be in the maindeck anymore, maybe keep it in mind as a tech choice but it's just a dead card more often than not. especially since midrange hunter needs to be aggressive. running a 6 mana reactive card is hard to justify when you're playing a deck that can't skip turn 1
edit: and if you're looking for a card that can remove taunts to push lethal, why not run owl? it's half the mana cost and actually has synergy with the rest of your deck, so it's much less of a dead card against aggressive decks
I still can't believe I'm missing a second copy of Jeweled Macaw :D
Wild Piloted Shredder says "Hi".
And the legendary you can take two XD
