The Trump Theorycraft Train to Un'Goro
The self-proclaimed Mayor of Value Town has been up to his usual post-reveal theorycraft now that the entire Journey to Un'Goro set is out in the wild, and oh boy does he have some ideas. Below you can find all of Trump's creations. It sure will be interesting to see if any of them can go further than his Old Gods C'Thun Druid!
Thanks to ShadowsOfSense for putting these lists together from Trump VODs! A true hero.
Spotlight: Elemental Tempo Mage
No Mage Quest here but we do see the Elemental tribe make a strong appearance alongside the new Mage Legendary, Pyros. The goal is to always have something awesome to drop on the field and to use Elementals throughout to always active their synergies.
Lots of common Mage tools in the deck, so let's highlight some of the new cards you'll be playing with.
Elise the Trailblazer
Awesomesauce. Seriously, this card is going to be great since you've got some good draw to help thin out your deck, improving the changes of obtaining your pack. The value of the pack is higher than a normal pack you'd buy out of the store as you are on average going to get a Legendary but will at the very least get a rare. It should also be noted that the expansion contains 22 Elemental minions, which are great for synergies within your deck.
The 2 Mana to play Un'Goro Pack is just so silly. You should be sent to jail for getting 5 cards for that cheap because its an absolute steal, especially when that hand thins out late game! This card is the new Loatheb.
Blazecaller
The better Firelands Portal! You'll cut out the RNG factor and due to the amount of Elementals in your deck, and Elemental generation potential, you should almost always be able to play this later on in the game.
Tol'vir Stoneshaper
This is one annoying stone cat, and beats out the classic Sen'jin Shieldmasta by a mile. It should help kick any aggro you find to the curb and be a nice annoyance like our old friend Sludge Belcher to anyone else you come across. Play it alongside one of those cheap Elemental tokens you received early on via Igneous Elemental to keep the synergy rolling onto your next turn.

Spotlight: Quest Rogue
Rogue isn't dead! Well, at least we hope it isn't! The deck makes use of the new Rogue Quest, The Caverns Below which grants Crystal Core.
- The deck plays off of low-cost minions which can be played whenever drawn and to get out tons of damage once your Quest completes for the ultimate in value.
- You should use Mimic Pod or Thistle Tea to draw one of your cheap minions.
- Shadowstep or Youthful Brewmaster will help bring that minion back to hand to get extra plays. Shadowstep preferably!
- The quest will complete very quickly and then you just need to go crazy! 5/5 Patches the Pirate - the Dream!

All The Decks!
In total, we've got 12 theorycrafted Un'Goro decks from Trump. Do you have any awesome ideas for new decks?
Thank you for the correction, sir!
I don't know about you guys but I'm running Faceless Manipulator and Shadowcaster and I'm going to play quest thief rogue.
Faceless manipulator doesn't trigger the quest.
Faceless wont work since quest is play minions.. not summon.
Ty Mr. President
I miss the previous one, if only for how great the phrasing sounded : Thanks Obama ..! ^^
Making the prediction now, the Elemental approach is better for the Quest Priest list. Crystalline Oracle and Igneous Elemental pull double duty, Shifting Shade and Tortollan Shellraiser are just good cards. Cairne is slow but I feel like he'd round out the list of solid minions to bring back with N'Zoth.
Meanwhile, Radiant Elemental and Lyra the Sunshard give you an interesting avenue to explore and could be good for generating value. I'm still pretty unsure if I like the idea of slotting a Burgly Bully into the list is right or not, but between Oracle/Shade/Lyra I feel like more value generation is good. Not sure there's a reason to really run the guys that trigger of Elementals, but the framework is there so slipping in Tol'vir Stoneshaper or Blazecaller seems like a decent upside since you can activate it pretty often.
Like, Priest has the potential to be bonkers and I think Trump is just flat wrong it won't see play. Kind of like how he said MSoG had no Aggro support and that we'd have a slow meta.
I really hope that priest will be at least tier 2. That's my favorite class, but it was dead for too long( dragon priest doesn't really feel like old priest decks). All these people predicting priest will be trash again make me a little bit sad. I'd really love to see Nzoth priest and taunt warrior on ladder.
i think that a elemental-spell priest with the neutral elemental support can be a good deck. Lyra the sunshard is really good card using power word: shield or silence its like a antonidas with more value posivility or less value.. also lyra can be discovered from kalimos servant
I didn't even know people cared about Trump anymore. I thought everyone moved on to the other streams like Thijs or something.
Lol, the self-proclaimed Mayor of Value Town and not so self-proclaimed president of USA.
Of course not "self-proclaimed", e l e c t e d is the word you're looking for there.
I'd disagree that the deck is bad, but Trump himself admitted the day before he went through these decks that he was struggling to come up with a Rogue deck, and that Rogue is his weakest class. All decks should be taken as ideas to work on, rather than gospel 'here's the best deck ever' ideas.
garbage...
Theorycrafting is fun, especially when playing Hearthstone is at it's absolute worst just days before an expansion. I would caution people to take any of these decks as anything more than wild guesses from a solid player though. I would bet money on the majority of theory crafts falling flat on their faces. Including Trump's, who imo has never been a good deckbuilder to begin with.
I suspect his idea of value these days are the type of cards that allows him to do major things with the very least effort, meaning cards you just play and let the no frills magic happen. In fact I got the thought under these lines the best value card ever conceived would be a 1 mana legendary neutral spell with the effect "Wins the game". Oh! and it can be called the IWIN button, the legendary button because out of all the IWIN buttons it is one that didn't break.
....why didn't I come up with this before for April Fool's day? Then again i am no artist.
Is somewhere the spreadsheet he made on the stream?
Trump's deckbuilding skills DansGame
Seriously, if people will net deck from him then I'll reach legend in no time LUL
He brought up some interesting concepts, but some of the decks are really bad (check priest, literally you will revive 1 and 2 drops with N'zoth).
