If you’re going to try to nab some tickets, take time beforehand to read up on this year’s ticket sales process and what’s new for 2017:
- BlizzCon Ticket Info page – Get an overview of BlizzCon 2017 general admission tickets.
- Ticket Purchasing Guide – Contains additional handy details on the ticket-sales process, including what information you’ll need to provide before trying to get tickets.
You’ll have until July 14 at 8:00 p.m. PDT to edit attendee information on your tickets, so it’s OK to enter your own name and email address for every ticket for now—just remember to go back and update this info before the deadline!
If you manage to grab tickets during this first sale, a second batch will go on sale Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. In addition, tickets to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner to benefit Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) will go on sale Wednesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. PDT. For those unable to attend the show, in-depth coverage of BlizzCon will be available with the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. Further details will be announced at a later date.
BlizzCon 2017 will take place November 3 and 4 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and tickets cost $199 each (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner cost $750 each (plus taxes and fees) and include BlizzCon admission. For more information, check out the official BlizzCon site.
want to see new cardback for this years
Being a brit I had to wait till 3am before I could get a chance to buy. And still didn't. The added salt. Seeing tickets pop up at 3-5 times their face value on e-bay.
Don't doubt that a bot program purchased them all up and selling for a profit.
Purchased! ...nah, just kidding
Yeah, I suspect the system is broken. I got no tickets available within 10 seconds after it started. Pretty lame.
So frustrated.. Couldn't get a ticket, yet was on the waiting list right as soon as it started. How do people get tickets for this thing?
(Edited version, sorry for outburst)
750$ for blizzcon dinner id rather dine at a really posh restaurant for that money!
I mean the whole point of the benefit dinner is that money is going to support a children's hopsital. Lol
Hmm. Being a brit...I'll have to wait up till 2am for this...
Sounds like a challenge...
I'll try to snatch the pre-BlizzCon dinner ticket this year!
If I can't then I'll just get virtual one this year. There are too many games that I'm interested in this year and I won't be able to catch everything if I go there.
Remember this when you complain about 1$ / pack, blizz isnt for plebs as you can see.
wish I could participate
Virtual ticket is good enough for me
I look at the prices and I feel so damn poor..Good luck to everyone who will participate!
Looking forward to another year where I sit at my computer for an hour trying to buy tickets, and eventually just end up getting the virtual ticket to watch in my theater room with my family. In a "fox and the sour grapes" sort of way, I'll tell myself that it's better watching it at home, avoiding the crowds and extra cost - but deep down I'll wish that I could get tickets: the last time I went was 2007, and it was a blast!
:-)
Covering the con in home in PJs ftw. Bonus points for the obligatory Pizza delivery just because I can.
Chinese take-out and the Blizzcon virtual ticket has become something of a family tradition at my house. PJs are so obligatory that at this point I'd probably be wearing Pajamas even if I attend in person. :-D
