Such a strange card. I could see it being decent in midrange because it reduces your reliability on card draw, allowing you to pack more mid-game punch, but it's also a legendary so it's less reliable itself due to the 1-copy limit.
It'll probably be unplayed - except for that one meme deck that everyone talks about for a week and then forgets.
Drop the Hemet, win the Joust
The hard counter to Weasel Tunneler that we needed!
Ramp druid is looking good, no more bad draws...
I can see it now Play Elise the Trailblazer's pack, twitch-chat spamming "BlessRNG Hemet, Jungle Hunter BlessRNG"
I hope this means shaman destroy all their thing from below (s) but probably not.
i can see it work in midrange hunter (not quest one obviously)
No, this works perfectly in quest hunter. You complete your quest and play your 5 mana 8/8. Now that you have your quest done, a 5 mana 8/8 on the board, you can now draw your late game win conditions by playing this card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!
Right, because discarding all the 1 mana 3/2 raptors you get is a winning strategy...
well you can play him before actually triggering 5 8\8 battlecry
I actually see it working with the quest:
-Play the quest
-Play hemet
-Play your last deathrattle minion you had in hand, activate quest, play legendary
-Play 5 raptors and tundra rhino You win.
Farfetched ? Yes, but why not ? That actually leads me to think the rhino will get nerfed at some point.
Well, with quest it becomes too conditional and not necessary too useful.
Imagine having it in hand before u complete quest at 6+ turn, it becomes practically dead card.
Also i think with 15 cards with draw it is better to draw low-costed cards instead of high-costed to curve better, so why even bother.
There are times when it would be a dead card, yes. Sometimes you just get bad draw in card-games. But, keep in mind that Hunters also have Tracking. If you play Queen before drawing Hemet, there's a chance that you can skip over him with Tracking. Or, the Tracking can allow you to find that big card you need to finish off your opponent, and Hemet isn't needed anyways.
As is, the Hunter quest is easy to trigger, but then what? Most of the time you don't want to draw Alley cat at turn 7. This is to say that there are drawbacks to playing the quest without Hemet, too.
This card as Trump said would be used to thin out your deck so can draw your late game. It will destroy minions and spells in your deck. My question is, how does resurrection effects work if your minions die from your deck?
It is an interesting card and will be experimented on but the average player will not craft it unless a pro player made a viable deck for it.
I doubt resurrection will have any effect as it's destroying the cards, not killing the minions.
still a few days early for april fool's
Best reveal so far. KappaPride
Lets go on an adventu..... *sees Un'goro scorched, its inhabitants dead, and Hemet laughing like a psychotic madman*
