I like the card idea, but i think the rng part of discard warlock is just stupid. If this deck is going to be good. It's is going to be even more rng-stone
Okay now I'm scared.
So we can totally check Forced Archetype off our bingo list right?
Offer other options that don't revolve around that sweet sweet disco? Especially both of the legendarys. Then again I'm not really complaining just pointing out that they are really pushing disco down our throats, just like with MSoG was pushing Renolock down our throats.
It seems much better than the last few Warlock Legendaries.
Really like this card. If it ends up useable, Discard Lock might finally get a decent threat in addition to Silverware Golem shinenigans.
What bothers me is - why the hell is that Lock minion? It's a Silthid, has NOTHING to do with warlocks. Then again, perhaps Demonsaurus was too meta.
Too bad discard mechanic is inconsistent. Will be a super fun card to play. Won't be played competitively
With the Karazhan Warlock cards and these new cards, I see this being very useful, especially with the Warlock Quest. Even if you discard the wrong card, it's still adding to the quest.
I think Raynad just totally got the fact that the quest might just not be any good in zoo 100% right. The Preist one at least stops aggro, but in zoo decks how many times do you discard 6 cards, and play a 5 mana spell, and wait a couple of turns for it to become valuable? And against aggro and midrange youre just dead when you play it. The quest is just too slow of a card, unless something HUGHES is in store.
This card tho, I cannot see why you wouldnt play, and even without the quest I see discardlock becoming a strong candidate for tier 1
Isn't making BOTH legendaries force a discard archetype a bit too much?? It's a cool card and all, but...
BOTH, Blizzard? BOTH?
Maybe it's just me getting pissed because I looked at the name and thought it'd have some really cool token generating effect...
That's how Hearthstone works now. Either you play what Blizzard wants you to play, or you f*ck off.
A silverware golem on steroids.
Plus it's a beast. Menagerie discardlock could become scary.
With enough beasts and murlocs, menagerie warlock could be a thing even without azures (zoobot generates value already with 1 target. Scary with more)
Consider also faerie dragons.
