DocPwn is a terrible player, he got points for prelims high rolling playing braindead agro shaman in the last day of the season, and got lucky on prelims, played like a shit, made a lot of missplay and still won, he missplayed even in the match up mid shaman vs pirate warrior (free win for shaman) and he almost lost that game

Hot damn, just voted for b787, because he's running CW and he is the only guy with a nice picture that spoke to me. Then I found out he's getting paired to play the ONLY OTHER guy that is not bringing Pirate Warrior, Fr0zen. Like seriously? Rigged match-making system OPOP. I'll be getting one pack, or maybe the rng gods will smile upon b787. Anyhow, good luck b787!

I think the colour is a reference to the colours of the class-cards in Hearthstone. So you should rather argue that the HS-team didn't pick the right colours for the class-cards... To me the colours are logical (never played WoW).

 I don't see how b787's control warrior is supposed to win. What's the gameplan and win condition? Keep clearing board and then slap Gromm and Deathwing and hope opponent doesn't have removal? Smorc with Gorehowl? Fatigue with armor? How is that deck supposed to deal potentially 60 damage to face?

Why isn't Elise in that deck as a win condition? Is she too slow? Basically any non aggro deck should win against his CW right? Maybe a midrange deck will face some problems but surely a dragon priest will start outvaluing him pretty soon.

PS: haven't played CW since fairly new player but I have seen alot of CW and they run Elise as win condition. So I will appreciate if someone explains this exclusion to me, thanks!

Things work differently in tournaments. The HTC format is always conquest, meaning you need to win with each of your decks to win the series. One valid strategy for conquest tournaments is to target a popular deck by bringing a lineup of decks that are all favored against it.  Even if you lose many of the games, it doesn't matter as long as your opponent has a single deck that they can't win with.

b787 seems to be countering pirate warrior. Control warrior, reno mage and most shamans are classically very favored against it. His Renolock is an anti-aggro build with voidwalker, corruption and no mountain giant

Basically his warrior is not meant to beat some decks but those losses are acceptable to uphold his lineup's strategy

Ohh okay thanks! Wasn't aware of the format. Damn, he'll be so salty if he still loses to pirates with his CW due to bad RNG or something.
