Hearthstone Week in Review: March 6 - 12
Things slowed down quite a bit last week but this Friday we're going to see the true start to the Un'Goro spoiler season. Hopefully things will pick up before Friday though, I'm about to fall asleep.
News
- E. Malone's first expedition journal appeared in the wild.
- China didn't get Heroic Tavern Brawl last week (that's this week) and instead had an interesting mashup of a Brawl which rewarded an Un'Goro card pack to winners. These packs can be opened on Un'Goro launch.
- Pricing changes for card packs, adventures, and arena tickets are coming to Europe. Spoiler Alert, they're increasing.
Esports
- Voting is live for the Hearthstone Global Games! If you vote, you get a free Old Gods card pack (at a later date).

- We took a look at the best Standard decks to play after the recent nerfs.
- Heroic Tavern Brawl! We posted 6 great 12 win decklists that you can't make use of now because it's offline.
- Top Decks of the Week! The best of Standard, Wild, and Heroic Brawl decks were on this week's list.

I can remember them announcing and expansion (I think it was WoG) and then releasing it 5 days later. Everyone was happy. Why are they going back to this...?

Posted Mar 14, 2017 (Aggro Downfall)yup it was loe, they announced it on a monday and it got revealed on a thursday. the big difference is that it was an adventure so there were only 32 cards or sometthing so they released them all in one day.
Whenever an expansion gets revealed it always takes up to 1.5 month before the actual release. But most of the time they release cards immideately and not wait 2 weeks before releasing cards. I think that the 2 weeks we had to wait before actual card reveals is way to long.

The pack fillers at least they are probably balanced anyway .. dunno something to see at least it's been 4 months since new cards were revealed.
I don't really see the point of the huge card dump every last week of the spoiler season.. it's pointless they can spread it up and make the hype which is totally dead.. fully dead.. prefer a long spoiler season to a short one..

Posted Mar 13, 2017 (Aggro Downfall)saltyaf? The hype isn't dead. Blizz does not do every reveal the same way. Once the 17th hits, we'll either get a mass dump of new cards or get 10+ new cards a day and the hype train won't stop. Its literally this Friday...

Posted Mar 13, 2017 (Aggro Downfall)If they reveal in a long period of time, the synergies can be found and the meta can be solved before the cards are released. So the almost perfected decks would be waiting for the release.
But if they reveal in a short preiod of time near the release, people can't figure out the best combinations.

Posted Mar 14, 2017 (Aggro Downfall)I'm fine with it, I'd even like it more if there wasn't any spoiler at all and we could discover the cards when opening the packs. I guess Mass Effect Andromeda will be a good way to keep off the internet and card spoilers. ^^ The main issue being, other people look at spoilers and start the season with an advantage in theorycraft.
