Since joining the Twitch family in 2016, HearthPwn has worked to integrate your favorite Twitch content into our website. Now, we're taking that integration one step further by making it easier than ever to log into your HearthPwn account. Today, we're excited to announce optional Twitch account merging!
Starting today, you'll have the option to merge your HearthPwn and Twitch accounts, allowing you to easily log in to HearthPwn with your Twitch username and password. You'll still keep your HearthPwn nickname, decks, forum content, and everything else you have saved here on the site. The only thing that will change is the way you'll log in.
Merging your accounts is completely optional, but doing so ensures that you'll be able to take advantage of the exciting features we have planned for the future. Get your PogChamp emote ready - you're going to need it.

I keep getting a 404 when trying to authorise my twitch account via the HearthPwn UI. One of your developers might want to look at that.
Awesome !
Gonna be 100% honest. I don't decry Hearthpwn for merging/joining with Twitch. I just despise the social "community" that is part of Twitch. I actually think Twitch is a great concept, a central location for people who wish to stream games. What I don't like is how the social interaction of twitch is relegated to infantile comments, copy/paste spam, and emotes. My fear is that will overflow into HearthPwn more so than it already has.
Don't mind me, just a crotchety old guy ranting.
Fully agree.
It flows into Hearthpwn because that's the Hearthstone community as a whole. You're seriously complaining that the community of a children's card game is childish? There are CCGs out there - more complex ones, naturally - that have communities which are mostly mature, not just mature in small segments (e.g., Kibler viewers).
My suggestion is to take it for what it is; hop on and have fun, if you can. A central place for streaming video games is indeed a great concept, but it shouldn't be surprising that, overall, the community that has formed around it is infantile. The good news is that you can isolate yourself and associate with only specific types of people by watching only certain streamers (again, I bring up Kibler), who keep the memes and general mayhem in their chat to a tolerable minimum.
Nice. I was always too lazy to register here, now I don't have to deal with that problem anymore.
I don`t have Twitch...
I did it for the site achievement I assumed I'd get.
Come on guys, at least gimme a 2nd gold trophy for thissss D:
I clicked on this article wanting to find out why I would possibly want to merge my accounts, and your answer is "we've got nothing"? How compelling! I'll start with the merge right now!
Someone actually downvoted monkaS... What's going on with mankind... BibleThump
