Boss Battle Royale - Which Bosses Came Out on Top?
Blizzard has released a list which ranked each of the bosses in the brawl from two weeks ago by winrate. Who did you have the most fun playing?
Quote from Jesse HillGreetings Tavern Brawl forum patrons!
Last week, we had a new Tavern Brawl – Boss Battle Royale. If you didn’t get the chance to try it out, we took some of the iconic Adventure bosses you may know and love and put them into the hands of the player for some high-powered Hearthstone battles!
Today, we wanted to share some of the results from the Boss Battle Royale, and get some feedback from you regarding the Brawl. Take a look at the Boss Battle Royale leaderboard to see which bosses had the highest win rates globally!
- Grobbulus
- Coren Direbrew
- Lady Naz’jar
- White King
- The Curator
- Razorgore
- Skelesaurus Hex
- Noth
- Gothik
Some matchups were a bit tougher on some bosses than others! The monstrous Grobbulus had a dominating win rate against the undead-resurrecting Noth, while seasoned pitfighter Coren Direbrew was more than a match for the White King. Players couldn’t escape the churning tide of minions from Lady Naz’jar; she was the most played Hero in the Brawl!
We hope you enjoyed this look into Boss Battle Royale. What bosses did you enjoy playing? What other Adventure bosses do you think would be fun to play as?
What's with the ice blocks? Do they do anything?
totally agreed with this list
I'm surprised The Curator isn't on the bottom...
Meat.
Patches cried because he wasnt invited
what made grobbulus strong again? was that because of the deal 1/1 AoE and make a slime?
because "Buff friend for a lot for very cheap, clone it, go face". He was basically a buff-go face deck.
I don't understand how Razorgore got 6th place. I didn't get a single win with that one, and I only faced it 3 or 4 times and absolutely crushed it.
I had the same experience. Most games using him felt totally unwinnable.
I faced against Coren and got a free deathwing on turn 2. RNG win.
GG
Not enough stats! Where are the numbers!? But on a more serious note - for me the Tavern Brawls are more about fun so I loved Skelesaurus and Lady.
Am I the only one who had struggle with Curator I thought that he was the weakest one.
Same here, i even gave it a chance and played like, 7 matches against other bosses, i play Hs for a long time already, but curator just got crushed by other bosses. Maybe because the powers it had were so RNG dependent. I also thinked he was the weakest one.
I think he was favoured against Lady Nazjar (with the evolve hero power). He protects his minions with his face and dictates the trades. And since she was the most played Boss, he had enough good matchups to not be the worst.
I agree, it had the potential to be decent but it seemed like every other deck was spec'd against it. I'd get nothing but 1 defense minions against enemies with deal 1 aoe or white king...
Rafaam deckswap pvp tavern brawl would be fun
Balanced or not, I think it may have been the best brawl so far.
How hard would it have been to give us the win rates or god forbid some match up statistics, this is just lazy.
Skelesaurus is awesome
Turn Two
Ysarage

Turn Three
he plays deathwing
Turn four
hero power
big game hunter
