Something New To Play Tuesday
Today we're featuring some lesser played archetypes that people have been having success with on the ladder, or are just a lot of fun to play! Taking a break from the usual and trying something new is always fun, so here are three decks to try this week:
Thijs' OTK Priest
Thijs chose to hit up the ladder with this OTK Priest last week, nearly making it to the Top 100. Featuring the classic Priest combo of Divine Spirit and Inner Fire as well as some newly released tools like Fel Orc Soulfiend and Kabal Talonpriest from Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. Lastly, he gives Confuse a final chance to shine before it rotates out a few months from now. All in all it includes plenty of options to buff your minions and make your opponent explode in a single turn.

Dart's Cryomancer Tempo Mage
Dart has been experimenting with this Tempo Mage list with a twist! It includes some fun new cards like Cryomancer and Freezing Potion as well as Demented Frostcaller from Whispers of the Old Gods. The archetype has fallen out of favor recently, but perhaps these new includes spark some new life into it. And if not, at least it's fun!

StanCifka's Kun-C'Thun Druid
Lastly we have a crazy C'Thun deck for you that StanCifka managed to go 14 - 1 with on the Asia Legend ladder. Including the new Druid legendary Kun the Forgotten King and Aviana, as we'll as mill cards like Naturalize and Coldlight Oracle we're not sure what he was thinking but it must be working out!

There is a curse on my tempo mage, that is, only carddraw vs agro and nothing vs some random paladin deck
Tempo is good.
btw, the art of Cryomancer is sick.
Agreed :D
even then, kun'thun certaily isnt new
No Draknoid Operative in a priest deck? Are you out your mind?
Because a 5/6 vanilla minion that costs 5 isn't worth a spot. You don't see people running Pit Fighter, do you?
No dragons? Might as well run Pit Fighter, then.
Sarcasm is the best when people don't quite get it right...
"kun c'thun" - "new" yeah
Had a dude run the druid deck at rank 17 and played it TERRIBLY but still won because of a bug with Aviana. After he played Aviana, he had 4 mana left, no innervates or anything used. He then proceeded to dump every minion in his hand which just happened to be all his legendarys, ending his turn STILL HAVING 4 MANA LEFT. I dont play net decks and barely play hearthstone much anymore, usually get rank 13+, been playing since beta. Never have I seen a bug like that. Straight up played a 9 mana card and had 4 mana left, then the minions he played after didnt deduct mana. Anyways if you are a terrible player who needs to net deck to win games, would highly recommend net decking the bugged Aviana deck. Or you know, just make your own deck and actually get better at the game. Whatever floats your boat lol
ps: i was playing a terrible Yogg mage deck i built, still would have won except for the bug.
You play Avianna into Kun which brings you back to 10 mana, then you drop bran and any C'thun minions and then finally C'thun. Not a bug.
darn it... I can't tell if this is a sarcasm or it's really "I have no fking idea what is going on!!! This world is corrupted!!!"
NEAT.
Also, there's nothing wrong with netdecking and it certanly doesn't result in people not getting better at the game. Creating a great deck and playing as best as you can require different skills.
To create a great deck, you have to understand the synergy between every card in the game and how people in the current meta play these cards. You also have to be creative, but most of all you have to test a deck thoroughly before you can call it a complete piece.
Executing a deck to perfection however requires you to find the best possible play every single turn, all the while taking into consideration the cards that could be in your opponents hand.
Some of the best pro players out there are netdeckers and only a few of the pro players are good or great at the art of creating a deck from scratch.
All in all my question is this: what was your point in criticising netdecking on a site which people register to for, I don't know, just that: netdecking?
Im liking these Tuesday segments alot, keep making these happen please :)
I like it
cool decks!
