as a avid hearthstone player and a die hard Bahamian... Nassau is one of the most dangerous places for people with wealth to visit... gangs down their in all honestly could literally overthrow their police... no offense to the people deciding this tourneys location but you better have some serious firepower and guarding if you don't want a heavily equipped militia overthrowing the tourney... as an American and a lover of the Bahamas, I love other islands for sure but Nassau is filled with violence, murders armed thefts from tourists and more... hell I've even had a gun aimed at my window at me once down there, stopping at a stop light. In my opinion I was lucky it wasn't a real gun ( I think because he didn't fire at me when I pretended to not look at him) (he was obviously a poor local demanding money) either way... I don't know what kind of stupidity it takes to host a tourney in one of the "more" dangerous places in the world to visit(not as an american but in general being wealthy than blizzards decision to host a tourney in Nassau.

Location will probably be nerfed to North Korea soon..

Rather than nerfed it will be rotated out for less-stale and very diverse place somewhere in Africa.

Okay. Looks like I will have to take prelims very seriously right now.

So lucky!  They should broadcast events at different locations so we could have scenic views during the gameplay. :-D

I wonder how many tavern hero qualifiers will be in total for the tavern hero tournament. I mean getting into top8 from 30 or so is pretty easy. While getting to top8 from like a 100 is a fair challenge. (I've won one already, good luck on yours)

So how do you even qualify (like I know I don't even have a chance but I would like to know how)

A tax deductible trip to the Bahamas in the tail end of winter? Hey, more power to them!

Based on this we'll probably get the next expansion in April as I don't think they'll release it before Winter Championships. But they might reveal it during the event. We'll see.

They are bad at designing the cards, but at least they know to organize an event.

So all our spend money goes for a nice holiday event for some casual people? Dude come on at least give us more ingame goodies than this. I bet the World Championship that is gonna happen in January 2017 will be held on the moon because you can!

Nice for them  cool n stuff but only when my game experience is as I expect. I mean I kinda have the feeling that the organization for the winter prelims is even more important than hearthstone in general (not that I feel icky for that or I want to salt around but this is what a usual guy from Switzerland like me thinks)

Interesting location a treat for them for sure in downtime.
