Downvote for there-their mix up.
The expansion looks awesome, period.
It is undeniable, and even those who say crap are hyped about it. I have been away like 2 months from the game, playing other stuff, but this announcement made me come back to play.
This are real changes, new mechanics, and good cards, everything that Kharazan did not bring to the table. They learned from the mistake, and imo they are making it right.
I already have stored 6K dust and 3K gold, and of course i'll be preordering (if there is a preorder) and also buying an extra stack of 60 packs. All this stuff look awesome, and the "tribal" cards will be a great and very very welcome addition imo.
I like all expansions.
My opinion: Kharazan was not a mistake. It is just an adventure and, as usual, just have some good cards without great changes or new mechanics.
Even MSG does not have big changes yet being a set expansion. No real new mechanics.
Well, when things get old yea i stop playing.
I play maybe for 2 months when an expac hits. After that, there are other games to play so i leave, knowing i'll eventually come back.
Its my money, so i'll spend it however i please, if you dont mind. And if you do mind, then i couldnt give less of a f***.
The hearthstone artwork has been getting more and more cartoonier and kidder as its gone on. And i thought the karazhan art was to kiddy...
Dude, there are A LOT of animal people in that trailer. There are pandaren, gnolls, kobolds, tauren, the crow-people that worshiped old gods... and a bunny-dude (?)
With that and the thief/mafia theme, this looks like Sly Cooper more than Hearthstone :P
having a fixed amount of removal isn't a bad idea / thing but you are blowing it out of proportion, hs has loads of verity still even set removals work in different ways and there are neutral removals too
I like this expansion so far since it does not contain crazy RNG (yet). Small-Time Recruits is a card-draw that is even less random than regular card-draws. Also I hope the meta will switch to a point that early game requires some decision making rather than just slamming on-curve good-stat minions.
To be fair, they are doing the heroic brawl, which is almost certainly a test for some kind of permanent new mode.
The first big change in the game happened this year, the standard mode. Few things can or will be greater than this.
what happens every few months is the release of expansions with new cards, and is what is happening now.
A new change in the structure of the game we can expect for the first 2017 release. If it not occur we need to demand big changes for 2018. in the meantime some little additions like a permanent heroic Brawl.
Well, the new expansion will be the end of the Shaman dominance.
we have not seen a single shamn card yet...
Priest is the counter of them all :D
2 mana acidic swamp ooze
When was the last time you saw that card?
a minion with 2 mana worth of stats the removal of weapon is (practically) free
the problem with the cards is not that they are too strong, it'ss that they are generic strong. It's pretty much recycling everything that hs already been, in one case (talonpriest) it's just a blatant slightly altered reprint of a previous powerful card that happened to rotate out.
They don't expand on Priest, they just recycle old themes with just more powerful cards, in this case: early Health buffs, midrange dragons, stealing your shit and removing everything.
Basically this means that there's just no potential for off meta priest decks so the existing archetypes NEED to work now or else Priest is useless again
I love how after this small reveal everyone is deciding everything about the new meta...... there is what 50 good cards left and 50 some odd bad ones
Dunno guys if you are too blind or limited in mind cause you don't see that except temporary new 3 gadgetzan clans we got nothing new? Game lacks new mechanics and tribes otherwise it would be the same dying boring game of unvariable aggros and controls. This game has actually no clever combos at all. Stop worshiping Blizz after they did one little something, players could handle the game better. No fame goes to Blizz for their uncreative and lazy work.
