Upcoming Content Announcement on November 4th
The BlizzCon 2016 schedule has been released and it looks like we've finally got confirmation we'll see an expansion announcement.
Hearthstone- What's Next
We’ve got some news to share on what’s coming just down the road in Hearthstone—join us!
This doesn't come as a huge surprise since Blizzard loves using BlizzCon as an expansion announcement platform, but it is nice to see confirmation! If you want to watch the panel you will need a BlizzCon virtual ticket, but don't worry if you don't want to shell out for it as we'll be covering it live here on HearthPwn!
The announcement is on Friday, November 4th, at 12:30 PM PDT. With only three weeks to go, what are you hoping for?

hmm..more tribal themes..(demons,pirate,mechs,murlocs,beasts,etc)
hopefully a new tribe and each class gets its own twist on that tribe (kinda like gvg with mechs..but less powercreepy over the top cards)
a potential replacement for Reno Jackson
and more deathrattle taunt cards like sludge bulcher but less op so that only slow decks would use (preferably a low atk high else)
oh and lastly more stuff that says ( Can not target Heroes )
I really think Blizz needs to shake things up. The most likely route is a new class, along with a relevant new key word. About half of the cards in the set could be the class cards for that set (some of which will eventually become "classic" or "basic" as the new set rotates out in a couple years) and many of the neutral and class cards for other classes could be designed around the new key word and overall theme. Some of those could also eventually become classic.
i agree ..expansions are fun for 3 weeks or so...after that its really stale and repetitive until the distant next expansion
Whatever it is, more demons for Warlocks please...
"Get in there and fight, maggot!"..."Put this apple on your head!"... it gets so old...
This is the announcement about the announcement.
Allthough we'd like to think the next expansion would be announced; the time line would match it as its nearly 8 months apart as the releases have been lately BUT!! For all we know they could just talk about changes they would like to see would happen with the game, new mechanics they have invented, tavern brawls. etc. It's blizzard after all, anything could happen when they put, "We’ve got some news to share..."
One card will be a joker card.
totally random effect, with a chance to be a random minion or random spell at any cost.
So? You have Khadgar and Rhonin for Mage.
Saturday, Novemeber 5th

Considering its taking place in the pacific time zone, when did you think it would be?
To be honest, I am hoping for a StarCraft theme, as impossible as it may sound. But next year it's StarCraft's 20 year anniversary :)
Anything is equally exciting. As long it's not too much alike the previous addition. The "Do a random, random effect to a random enemy. Cost Random amount of mana" type of cards.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm looking forward to see some new Priest and Paladin cards. For the LIGHT! :)
Also Overwatch stuff, yay!
I personally would love a few more cards in the Forbidden line of design, though maybe only a few since that can easily become overwhelming.
#MakePriestGreatAgain
Using that hashtag makes me want Priests to remain exactly where they're at....
#Don'tMakePriestGreatAgain gives the same result. lol
