Hearthstone Pegasus Mount (WoW Promotion)
The infamous Pegasus mount from World of Warcraft is once again back in the news here on HearthPwn. Unfortunately for us though, we are still waiting for confirmation on obtaining this sweet steed. The only information we have linking it to possible rewards at the moment came from some older datamining, which showed up in the form of a quest! The quest is called The Duelist and requires you to simply complete three games in play mode. Currently completing the quest does not reward you with a mount, but it's always possible it could be added in a future patch.

If you are building a deck, you have to go into crafting to see the cards you don't own.

Mana Grind's NA & EU Weekend Hearthstone Tournaments

For anyone who is interested in playing some Hearthstone this weekend in a tournament format, Mana Grind will be hosting their 7th tournament for North American players on Saturday, October 5 at 2PM EDT, and their 3rd tournament for European players on Sunday, October 6 at 3PM GMT. Everyone with beta access is free to signup to compete for bragging rights. Be sure to read the rules for the tournament you are entering before signing up, and be bring your a-game!

Posted Oct 5, 2013 (Beta Patch 3890)There *is* no difference between Normal and Gold cards, except appearance. The Gold cards are (of course) Gold-bordered, and have additional animations on-screen (Gelbin Mekkatorque's wrench-mace is all glowy, for example). In-game, mechanically, the cards are identical. If you've ever played Magic: the Gathering, the Gold cards are equivalent to foils. They're pretty much just for fun/bragging rights.

Posted Oct 5, 2013 (Beta Patch 3890)I don't doubt they will just drop the Hearthsteed for a LONG time, now they decided for VIP release of the live game, with no prospect of letting people enter freely. The rage to have the steed available to invited only would cause an even greater backlash.
