Hearthstone Beta Patch 3890

A patch has been deployed to the Hearthstone beta realms. This post will be updated with more information when we have it. The official patch notes for this build are available here. 

New Daily Quests

As previously announced, there were changes made to some of the daily quests to make them more fun for players to complete.

Friends List Change

Players in the NA region for Hearthstone will now get to see all their friends playing other Blizzard games as online! Previously the beta test was being hosted on the PTR servers for BattleNet.

Your Hearthstone friends list will now use your live Battle.net account friends list as opposed to the closed beta test friends list. You may discover on log-in that your friends list is quite a bit different! Anyone that you've added to your friends list before the wipe will have to be re-added, unless they were already on your existing Battle.net accounts friends list. Battle.net friends will now be able to see you playing Hearthstone!

Card Changes

There were several card changes made with this patch, most of which we already knew about. There were several new cards added that were a part of a new card set called Credits. As far as we know these cards are not playable in-game and are only in the game to give the developers of Hearthstone credit for their work.

• Power Word: Shield Minion health increase reduced to 2. Now draws a card.

Minion

• Cabal Shadow Priest Attack increased from 3 to 4. Health increased from 4 to 5.
• Lightspawn Health increased from 4 to 5.
• Northshire Cleric Mana Cost reduced from 2 to 1.
• Prophet Velen Now also doubles the damage and healing of your Hero Power in addition to spells.

Rogue Ability

• Backstab Now only deals 2 damage to an undamaged minion rather than an enemy minion.
• Conceal Mana Cost increased from 0 to 1.
• Headcrack Mana Cost increased from 2 to 3.
• Preparation Mana Cost reduction of next spell increased from 2 to 3.
• Shiv Mana Cost increased from 1 to 2.

Hero Power

• Dagger Mastery No longer buffs your current weapon if you have a weapon equipped.

Minion

• Defias Ringleader Health decreased from 3 to 2.
• Edwin VanCleef No longer has Stealth. Attack and Health increased from 1 to 2.
  

Shaman Minion

• Healing Totem No longer heals your hero at the end of your turn.
• Wrath of Air Totem Now gives +1 Spell Damage instead of Spell Power.

Warlock Ability

• Sacrificial Pact Mana Cost reduced from 2 to 1.

Minion

• Pit Lord Damage dealt to your hero decreased from 7 to 5. Attack reduced from 7 to 5. Health increased from 5 to 6.

Warrior Ability

• Battle Rage Mana Cost increased  from 2 to 3. Now draws a card for each damaged character rather than minion.
• Commanding Shout Mana Cost increased from 1 to 2. Now draws a card.
• Inner Rage Increased for this turn has changed to ongoing attack gain.

Minion

• Cruel Taskmaster Health increased from 2 to 1.
• Frothing Berserker Attack increased from 1 to 2.

• Arathi Weaponsmith 50% off fist weapons, limited time only! We accept guild funds for repairs!
• Arcane Golem Golems are wonderful henchmen. They don't eat or complain, and they look imposing. Having Arcane golems at home really classes up the place, and as a bonus they are great conversation pieces.
• Archmage Archmagi have access to a special room in Dalaran. Nobody knows what happens there, but it definitely is NOT a party, despite the shipments of D.I.S.C.O. balls. You earn the title of Archmage when you can destroy anyone who calls you on it.
• Argent Commander (New) The Argent Dawn stands vigilant against the Scourge, as well as people who cut in line at coffee shops.
• Argent Squire (New) "I solemnly swear to uphold the Light, purge the world of darkness, and to eat only burritos." - The Argent Dawn Oath
• Armorsmith He She accepts guild funds for repairs!

• Gruul Gruul the Dragonkiller deserves his name. The bones of dragons litter his lair in the Blade's Edge Mountains. He's Gruul "the Dragonkiller". He just wanted to cuddle them??? he never meant to???
• Guardian of Kings (New) Holy beings from the beyond are so clich??!
• Gurubashi Berserker (New) No Pain, No Gain.
• Hand of Protection (New) This spell has been renamed so many times, even paladins don???t know what it should be called anymore.
• Harvest Golem (New) "Overheat threshold exceeded. System failure. Wheat clog in port two. Shutting down."
• Healing Touch The technique for this Touch is only slightly different than the "Touch of Intense Pain", and it takes years to learn the difference. 8 Health, no waiting.
• Hellfire It It's spells like these that make it hard for Warlocks to get decent help.
• Heroic Strike (New) Really, if you're a hero, this is every strike.
• Holy Wrath (New) C'mon Molten Giant!!
• Hungry Crab (New) Murloc. It's what's for dinner.

• Sprint (New) Rogues are not good joggers.
• Starfire If you see an opposing druid start to cast this spell, get into the fetal position. Balance is important to druids. This card is perfectly balanced.
• Stonetusk Boar (New) This card is boaring.
• Stormforged Axe (New) Yo, that's a nice axe.
• Stormpike Commando The Stormpike commandos run behind enemy lines to burn Frostwolf towers. are demolition experts. They also bake a mean cupcake.
• Stormwind Knight He's a little embarrassed about that one time Stormwind was destroyed. They're still embarassed about "The Deathwing Incident".
• Stranglethorn Tiger (New) The wonderful thing about tigers is tigers are wonderful things!
• Sunfury Protector (New) She carries a shield, but only so she can give it to someone she can stand behind.
• Sunwalker (New) She doesn???t ACTUALLY walk on the Sun. It's just a name. Don???t worry!
• Swipe Goblins used to export Claw-Sharpeners to the Barrow Dens before the Cataclysm. When a bear rears back and extends his arms, he's about to Swipe! ... or hug.
• Sword of Justice (New) I dub you Sir Loin of Beef!
• Sylvanas Windrunner (New) Sylvanas was turned into the Banshee Queen by Arthas, but he probably should have just killed her because it just pissed her off.
• Tauren Warrior (New) Tauren Warrior: Champion of Mulgore, Slayer of Quilboar, Rider of Thunderbluff Elevators.
• Temple Enforcer (New) He also moonlights Thursday nights as a bouncer at the Pig and Whistle Tavern.
• The Black Knight (New) He was sent by the Lich King to disrupt the Argent Tournament. We can pretty much mark that a failure.
• Thrallmar Farseer (New) He's stationed in the Hellfire Peninsula, but he's hoping for a reassignment closer to Orgrimmar, or really anywhere the ground is less on fire.
• Timber Wolf He doesn't show it, but he enjoys a cuddle now and again. Other beasts totally dig hanging out with timber wolves.
• Tinkmaster Overspark There is a reeeeeeeeeally small chance that instead of a Devilsaur it'll become The Lich King. Reeeeeeeally small. Tinkmaster Overspark nearly lost his Tinker's license after the Great Ironforge Squirrel Stampede of '09.
• Tirion Fordring (New) If you haven't heard the Tirion Fordring theme song, it's because it doesn't exist.
• Totemic Might (New) Totem-stomping is no longer recommended.
• Truesilver Champion (New) It Slices, it Dices. You can cut a tin can with it. (But you wouldn't want to.)
• Twilight Drake (New) Twilight drakes feed on Mystical Energy. And Tacos.
• Unbound Elemental (New) Unlike bound elementals, Unbound ones really enjoy a night on the town.
• Venture Co. Mercenary This card would disenchant itself if it could pocket the Arcane Dust. Those goblins love currency! No Job is too big. No fee is too big.
• Violet Teacher If you don't listen carefully, you run the risk of being pay attention, you may be turned into a pig. And then glared at. you get your name on the board.
• Voidwalker (New) No relation to "The Voidsteppers", the popular Void-based dance troop.
• Voodoo Doctor For a while, this card was named "Voodoo Doctor, mon". Voodoo is an oft-misunderstood art. But it is art.
• Warsong Commander (New) The Warsong clan is such drama. It's really not worth it to become a commander.
• Wild Pyromancer Don't invite this guy to your house! BOOM BABY BOOM! BAD IS GOOD! DOWN WITH GOVERNMENT!
• Windfury Just don't expect him to give it back to you. Windfury is like Earthfury and Firefury, but more light and airy.
• Wolfrider (New) Orcish raiders ride wolves because they are well adapted to harsh environments, and because they are soft and cuddly.
• Worgen Infiltrator (New) If you want to stop a worgen from infiltrating, just yell, "No! Bad boy!"
• Wrath Hamuul Runetotem loves this card. The talk around the Ratchet Inn is that this card is too good and should be a Legendary.
• Young Dragonhawk (New) They were the inspiration for the championship Taurenball team: The Dragonhawks.
• Young Priestess (New) She can't wait to learn Power Word: Fortitude Rank 2.
