Update 2:35 PM EDT Sunday: Antonidas joins the party!
The Party Guests of Karazhan
The Hearthstone Twitter account has been having some fun and has tweeted out pictures of some of our favourite card art containing minor differences which show they are ready to party. This is some promotional material for the next adventure which at this point we are certain is Karazhan.
Annoy-o-Tron
Annoy-o-Tron has been spotted with a goblet filled with oil instead of the usual bell. Perhaps the Tron will be present somewhere in the adventure or may get a revival as a distinguished robot card? Probably not, but it's fun to think!
Possessed Villager
Possessed Villager is gettin' his party on with a fancy hat. We have no idea what possessed him to do such a crazy thing but he seems to be enjoying himself under the rain of confetti.
Archmage Antonidas
Archmage Antonidas has also joined the party. He is equipped with a Balloon and a refreshing umbrella-holding goblet.
Darkmoon Fair-that is way more of a party like.
Reno Jackson just got invited today too ;)
c'mon not Karazan, we all know what instance we want tp come to hearthston, everyone's favorite THE OCULUS!!! C'mon blizz make it happen!
in all seriousness though, I would have prefered Ulduar to Kara (just the Uld board and cardback alone would be niiiiice!) but Kara maes it into my 5 fav raids as well so I'm still more than happy and it seems I have Ulduar to look forward too still :) here's to hoping for ICC, SWP and TK somewhere down the line as well ... blizz wants money and these are their biggest hitters so we all know it's gonna happen :)
I find it highly amusing how everyone is downranking everybody that mentions DMF as the next adventure when there's still no actual hard evidence that the next adventure is Karazhan. I even looked on this site's backlog of news reports and have yet to see anything that points to Karazhan. Everyone jumped on it because of a ticket sent out with the word "magic" written on it.
I understand that it might be Karazhan in the end, but downranking people with a different point of view? Simply put, this website's community should be almost as ashamed of itself as it's own moderation team should.
Karazhan.com was registered by Blizzard, so.. Its coming!
I have to agree with you as i feel like i'm one of a few who isn't convinced as Karazhan being the next adventure. Perhaps it isn't even an adventure that's coming but maybe something totally new.
Otherwise i think i'm going to follow my own feelings which is pointing towards a time based concept. Think of "Caverns of Time"..
Ok, lets see (:
You can't register "subdomains". You just create them via Apache directives.
Well there was the Chinese leak that Blizz would be releasing a new Shaman hero named Morgl the Oracle who also mentioned that the next expansion would be themed after a WoW raid with three Chinese characters as the name. DMF is not a raid, and I don't believe the Chinese word for it is three Chinese characters.
possible, but most seem to think the new adventure is this as well to tie in with the movie and new expansion. would make a ton of sense really, that's without the analysis of the wonka style invitations that have been circulating (basically got Medivh style shit in the corner, son.) Karazhan would be cool, I'm not really bothered what it is, as long as it's good.
It's not that I think warcraft lore is bad, it's just that I don't feel like going out of my way to figure out what everyone is talking about.
But since there is this effort to hype the new adventure, some context would be appreciated for those of us who played WoW just long enough to get lady liadrin. I guess they'll do it at the announcement anyway. :P
Great summary. It should also be noted that this marked the first time you could do a raid in a group of less than 20 people and also the first time you could do a raid for tier-gear in a group less than 40 people. When BC was released, one of the biggest challenges that the designers faced was making accessible end-game raid content for guilds of less than 40 people. This empowered mid-level raiders to be raid leaders and even guild leaders, which led to boatloads more fun.
watch the warcraft movie, karazahn is the tower that medivh lives in I believe!? I could be wrong though as I've played less WoW than you most likely... it means it would be a fell based thing most likely with Illidan as the boss. That's just a guess though.
Every time you play a spell, drink a shot
Everybody hoping an Icecrown or a Pandarian adventure and it's actually Karazhan good job Blizzard :D
