would love to see full decklist from all players
decklists please!
age of druids? that age is past.
Swiss is probably the best format for card games. The better players get their chance to make top 16.
Yet another thing I don't like about this game. Tournaments are so incredibly closed-circuit. It's like a "clique" of the same damn players.
There are plenty of other tournaments, just the major ones tend to get this treatment as they require people to have teams, have limited slots etc.
To their credit, we see the same names because they are constantly at the top of their game. There are also a bunch of players that are playing but we don't see them because the matches are not streamed. Overall, they do it for the viewership though, its less interesting to watch a bunch of nobodies.
The whole point of Tavern Heroes is to combat that clique culture. At least Hearthstone is trying to do something to get lesser-known players into their top competitions. The popularity of Snail earlier this year shows people like what they're doing.
The timezone is wrong. It is in Austin, Texas so CT or CDT not CET (Central European Time).
11:30 AM Saturday, in Austin, TX is
6:30 PM Saturday, Central European Summer Time (CEST)
9:30 AM Saturday, Pacific Time (PT)
12:30 PM Saturday, Eastern Time (ET)
1:30 AM Sunday, in Tokyo, Japan
Why can't all times at Hearthpwn be given with a fixed timezone? Then all we need to do is to remember the difference to our respective timezones.
I get that the different competitions are held in different timezones, but considering the multinational nature of HS's fanbase, they could make things a lot easier for us by using a standard such as UT for everything. (Totally not biased because UT is GMT, which is usually my timezone).
I simply quoted it from the official site, blame DreamHack!
good games coming up :D
Any VOD's of the event?
i love a good tournament with a bunch of pro and rising stars :)
