The players in each of these images can win in the current turn, and it’s your job to figure out how exactly to pull it off. Can you help the current player win and solve these Hearthstone puzzles?
Difficulty: 5/5 Mana Crystals
Your opponent is playing Gul’dan, the Warlock. He has seven cards in his hand, and the following minions in play: Cult Master, Summoning Portal, Ravenholdt Assassin, Flame Imp, and Spellbreaker.
You are playing Anduin Wrynn, the Priest. You have only one card in play, a Shieldbearer that has been silenced. Your hand contains: Auchenai Soulpriest, Inner Fire, Shadow Madness, Power Word: Shield, Reckless Rocketeer, Greater Heal, and Circle of Healing.
It’s turn 10 for you, and you have 5 health remaining. Gul’dan is staring you down with 25 health left. How can you win against this wily Warlock?
Difficulty: 3/5 Mana Crystals
Your opponent is Jaina Proudmoore, the Mage. She has four cards in her hand, and the following minions in play: Sunwalker (with Divine Shield active), a Water Elemental (currently at 3/1), and a 3/3 Ethereal Arcanist.
You are playing Thrall, the Shaman. You have the following minions in play: A Booty Bay Bodyguard (5/1 and frozen by the Water Elemental), a Shieldbearer, a Young Dragonhawk, a Stoneclaw Totem, a Wrath of Air Totem, and a Murloc Warleader.
Taking a look at your cards, your hand contains: Bloodlust, Lightning Bolt, Windfury, Hex, Rockbiter Weapon, Ironbeak Owl, Flametongue Totem, and Lava Burst.
It’s your 7th turn, and you have 7 health remaining, while your opponent is looking pretty good with 25 health remaining. How can Thrall teach Jaina a lesson in the power of the elements?
Difficulty 5/5 Mana Crystals
In our last puzzle, your opponent is Garrosh Hellscream, the Warrior. He has four cards in his hand with the following minions in play: Leper Gnome, Mogushan Warden, Tauren Warrior, and Gruul. He also has an Arcanite Reaper equipped as a weapon.
You are Gul’dan, the Warlock. You have the following minions in play: Summoning Portal, Mana Addict, a 1/1 Lightwarden, Chillwind Yeti, Voidwalker, Kobold Geomancer, and Raging Worgen.
Taking a peek at your hand, you’ve got: Hellfire, Frost Elemental, Defender of Argus, Earthen Ring Farseer, Archmage, Corruption, and Sacrificial Pact.
Garrosh is at 21 Health and no Armor.
You are at 1 Health and have 10 mana at your disposal. So, how do you dispose of this pesky Warrior?

Fireside Chat Episode 12
Fireside Chat will be live tonight at 8pm EDT on the HearthPwn Twitch channel. Don't miss out!
Ok. I found a way at 3 that no one has done yet:
Swing Void in 1/7 taunt. Now 1/6
Sacrificial Pact Void.(8 mana left) You're now at 6 HP. Lightwarden get's boosted to 3/1
Mana Addict is now a 3/3. Swing it at 1/6 taunt. Now 1/3.
Swing Koldbolt Geomancer into Tauren Warrior. Your Koldbolt is now dead.
Place Defender of Argus between Lightwarden and Raging Worgen (6 mana left) 4/4 Worgen. 4/2 Lightwarden.
Use Earthern Ring Farseer at Lightwarden (5 Mana left) Lightwarden is now a 6/4.
Hellfire ( 1 mana left) Kills enemy board. You're now at 1 because of Leper Gnome.
Garrosh is now at 18.
Use your now 5/1 enraged Worgen to swing for 10 at Garrosh. He is at 8.
Use your 6/1 Lightwarden to beat him down to 2.
Finish him off with your 4/2 Chillwind Yeti
Fuck me. Lightwarden is 1/2. Not 1/3 as I thought.
I'm only going to give directions on the third question since no one has been able to solve it correctly yet. I will say it was the hardest one I've read yet and requires a strange move for it to work.
Question 3
Your priest and shaman are so wrong.
1- Buff shield bearer with inner fire and hit (21hp left)
2- Buff enemy's cult master with Power Word: Shield (so it wont die to the heal/dmg and he can draw cards)
3- Drop Auchenai Soulpriest and use circle of healing (enemy now has 10 cards)
4- Greater heal the warlock for 20 damage
5- hero power on warlock for +2 damage and gg (still have 2 mana left)
Shaman: Blood Lust does NOT increase the damage with spell power. You wont even use bloodlust in that. I will not say the answer
The Leper gnome would kill you in the Warrior one and the corruption doesn't work until next turn as far as im aware
It's funny,, for Thrall's one, I was thinking of making a puzzle using this exact solution, yet it took me a while to get it right ;p
1- Ironbeak Owl(Mana 5/7) on the far side(either is fine), silence your Booty Bay Bodyguard(removes Taunt and Freeze)
2- Play Flametongue Totem(Mana 3/7) between Booty Bay Bodyguard and Shieldbearer(Very important)
3- Use your minion on the right of the Flametongue totem in successionto kill the Sunwalker:
- Shieldbearer(2/4) dies but removes the shield
- Young Dragonhawk(3/1) dies and brings Sunwalker to 2 health
- Stoneclaw Totem(2/2) dies and kills Sunwalker.
4- Sacrifice the Wrath of Air Totem(2/2) on either minion
5- Use your Windfury(Mana 1/7) and Rockbiter Weapon(Mana 0/7) on Booty Bay Bodyguard(10/1) and hit Jaina with everthing (10+10 from Bodyguard + 5 from the Murloc (who now has the second +2 from flametongue)
EDIT: My bad, clicked save by mistake
It's not necessary to sacrifice the Wrath of Air Totem. You can attack Jaina with it, it will do 2 damage and it will be enough to kill her (in addiction at the 20 damage she takes from the Bodyguard and the 3 from the Murloc).
.. oh yeah
not sure why I thought it was nessecary :)
Nearly but you have to play step 1 after step 3 otherwise your board is full.
Um flametongue totem only buffs the minions to the right and left of it. That means the young dragonhawk and stone claw totem would not have +2.
Edit: just realized my mistake. The minions die in succession! Cool.
Math fail. Back to the drawing board. :(
First 2 are easy, but I was finally able to solve the third one:
1. hit tauran warrior with gnome (gnome dead, warrior is now 5/1)
2. hit tauran warrior with chillwind yeti (both dead)
3. drop Earthen ring farseer at the rightmost/leftmost spot (others are possible as well, but this is important), Lightwarden is 2/1, you are at 4 health, 9 mana left
4. attack the mugushan with the void terror (void terror 1/2, mugushan 1/6)
5. use sacrifical pact on void terror, you are at 9 health and lightwarden is 3/1, Mana Addict is 3/3, 7 mana left
6. attack mugushan with light warden, mugushan is 1/3, warden is dead
7. drop Defender of Argus between Raging Worgan (4/4) and Mana Addict (4/4), 5 mana left
8. use hellfire. Raging worgan is 5/1 with windfury, mana addict is 6/1, mugushan is dead, you have
64 health (forgot about lapper gnome when writing the solution :p I did remember him when solving though) and opponent have 18. 1 mana left.9. use corruption on anything, mana addict is 8/1. 0 mana left
10. hit with everything - 5X2 from worgan and 8 from mana addict, opponent have 0 health.
Some stuff are interchangable, but this is the idea.
Edit: At first I had troubles with this because I thought The tauran warrior enrage is only +1 attack, so I had no idea how to get rid of the yeti. The idea of using defender of argus on both mana addict and raging worgen for the hellfire seems pretty obvious as these are the big creatures that need to survive it.
Good Luck thinking about it in 90 seconds while down to 1hp :D
I'm not certain you understand this... you can't control the gnome, it's on the other side. Killing the Gnome would kill you anyways. Also: Look at the text, it's not a void terror, it's a voidwalker. The REAL way to do it is to:
1) Frost Elemental the Mogu'shan Warden. Since it's frozen and as such can't be attacked, taunt has no effect and it can be bypassed. Be sure you drop the elemental on the far left, beside the portal. 6 mana left.
2) Drop the Farseer on the far right, past the worgen. This makes the Lightwarden 2/1. 5 mana left
3) Hit the tauren with the worgen, killing the tauren and buffing the worgen to 4/1 with an extra attack available.
4) The enemy has no taunt left, so hit it with the Void bringing him to 20 hp.
5) Sacrifice the Void, making the Addict a 3/3 and the Lightwarden 3/1. 3 mana left.
6) Corruption any of the three remaining enemies to bring Addict to 5/3. 2 mana left.
7) Drop the Defender of Argus between the Addict and the Yeti, making the Addict 6/3 and the Yeti 5/5. 0 mana left.
8) Hit the enemy with everything. 6+5+3+4+2(don't forget the Kobold :D)=20
9) Be sure to tell the enemy "Well Played!" :D
Derpyhooves the above guy is correct, the only problem is that he accidentally called the kobold a gnome.
I should also mention, I have never seen frozen targets lose their taunt. I have seen stealthed minions lose their taunt, but frozen doesn't seem to imply that they can't be targeted, only that they cannot attack. I am not certain why this would bypass the taunt. You mention it is because they cannot attack, but it does nothing for their ability to be targeted and to deal damage when attacked.
Edit: One such thread I have seen detailing that freezing does not remove taunt. (Albeit they argue the fantasy realism of how someone who is frozen can still guard people).

wow these puzzles are so much more fun than the last ones :D
First one: Inner Fire on Shieldbearer -> Hit Gul'dan with Shieldbearer -> PW:S on Cult Master -> Play Soul Priest -> Circle of Healing -> Greater Heal on Gul'dan -> Hero ability on Gul'dan
Wow Kudos to you. Usually I'm good at these puzzles and I just couldnt figure the first one out.
Does the Cult Master ability work if it dies along with the other minions? E.g. when you just CoH all of them without doing PW:S first?
