Faceless Summoner and Twilight Flamecaller

The rares and epics don't measure up so far. Makes me wonder how they choose the colors...

Card rarity is chosen by the designers based on several factors. The ease of obtaining a card is obviously a factor, including Arena balance. Beyond that, card complexity, "excitement, also just gut instinct" come into the decision

They say it's mainly on how defining the card is like millhouse mana storm, hes complete garbage but has a pretty defining effect.

I love how Blizzard try to return some cards into actual play giving its effect to minions/another cards, I personally love Light of the Naaru andMuster for Battle. But I don't have much enthusiasm for playing Twilight Flamecaller. Arcane Explosion is mostly good just because you can play it with some Spell Damage minions. Playing it on T4 with Bloodmage Thalnos will give you exact Consecration outcome.

Yes, you can boost Twilight Flamecaller with Brann Bronzebeard, but 6-cost AoE combo for 2 damage is a bit too slow in my opinion, especially for Mages. There are few cases I can see this card could be pretty good, but I just can't imagine any of them not to have better replacement. 

so a 1 mana 2/2 that cast a 2 mana Arcane Explosion when played...seams legit :D

I think it's a good "extra" card, it won't be on every single deck.

Well its a basic card so ... they want to have bad cards, especially in basic set, so ppl can feel good about getting new cards :)

Good combo with Bronzebread

This card is just all around.......wooow.

Upgraded version of Arcane Explosion, sounds nice, but the awesome thing of this card is its stunning artwork!
