Noxious' Fun Tech - Djiniis and Tigers!
Noxious is back with another episode of Fun Tech! This time he's running a Paladin deck which makes use of ... yep, you guessed it - Djinni of Zephyrs & Stranglethorn Tiger.
- Mulligans: Shielded Minibot, Muster for Battle.
- Buff up your Djinni of Zephyrs when buffing up your Stranglethorn Tigers.
- Tigers should be your big minion, and will live through Enter the Coliseum board wipe.
- Keeper of Uldaman can help get rid of higher health targets through your clears.
Have you been playing any fun-oriented decks lately? Show us them in the comments! Check out the video below for gameplay on Noxious' Fun Tech deck.

Keep up the good work, Hearthpwn!
I use Djinni in my Control Reno Druid, I have 1 Mark of the Wild to go with Dragonkin Sorcerer. Yes I used to have a total of 3 different duplications. I cut down to TWO by doing 1 Spellbreaker instead of 2 Keeper of the Grove.
The other is Mark of Nature that also is flexible to use along with Big Game Hunter to take down something aside from buffing your own Djinni / Dragonkin Sorcerer.
Note: The Wild Growth is not really JUST used for ramping but to sometimes hold as Excess Mana to go with Chromaggus that is still alive on the board.
On EU side. earlier I was trying to snipe my fellow friend streamer, and i failed to do so but I won all 3 games, R17 to R15 (i kept my win streaks from before that I had used the same deck) this is my EU side, so my collection is lesser than my main side.
Yes. What I don't get is when people assume the need to "instantly activate" Reno Jackson. It's not like you would ALWAYS keep it in your hand unless you know a certain matchup that "burst" you fast and you "seriously 'rely' upon" the "instant" activation.
So why do you think I took out 1 Keeper of the Grove for Spellbreaker? It's not really because they are both 4-cost and that they do the same thing. Spellbreaker also is anti-Patron since it (The Patron) has 3 attack unless you play against someone who uses Commanding Shout. And also like you said, I don't want MORE Duplicates. And in fact, a "SECOND" Keeper of the Grove is also good for the 2-Damage CHOICE to not necessarily needing to "pop" Ice Barrier of the Freeze Mage match-up for example.
Wrath is good to draw a card aka "cycle". It goes just as well in the late-game withChromaggus for copying a card.
2 Swipes: 1 Swipe is handy against Muster for Battle, the other Swipe is in your choice or timing to save yourself or even offensive SMOrc.
Duplications are the definition of "the good ol' "consistency" of decks, remember the times when we were always like you gotta make the "Shortest Decklist" (No scroll also for "streaming visual aid" or even just Print Screen or Snapshot or Capturing your decklist to make it Clean and Small... TWO-of is also "increasing your chances to draw them". This is why Reno Jackson's card text amazes me.
There are two kinds of Reno Jackson decks.
1) "strictly reading into the card text" to obtain INSTANT activation.
2) For example, Warrior's Death's Bite is so important, you might still consider having 2-of JUST FOR THAT alone despite activation issues, of course there's a proper Reno Warrior by LOKShadow for example that goes 1-of-everything and it is REALLY SUCCESSFUL. But you gotta remember, don't cry about not drawing your Death's Bite when you need it, so that's where "TWO-of decks are still as legitimate". For example, you already used your Inner Rage, and your Whirlwind/Revenge/Slam, Cruel Task was used for Execute.... etc etc... how else you want to activate your Grommash Hellscream if you don't obtain your Death's Bite since 1-of means you gotta almost "keep in mulligan"/"hard mulligan" or what-if it ends up at the bottom of your deck? Then your Enrage is ruined.
What amazes me is how people are starting to contradict themselves with Percentage Chance of drawing 1-of versus the old concept of 2-ofs. "Consistency" of drawing the CARD(s) you want, it's almost like "Reliance on my Duplicates" to help out. If you want you can take out the 2 Duplicates and find a better way to board clear like Explosive Sheep and a Doomsayer.
But then you also end up risking your own creatures. So up to you. You can do all kinds of things. Don't just give me the notion that you're reading into the card text of Reno Jackson over the good ol' "consistency of chance" by having 2 copies of each card in "particularly SHORT DECKLISTS"
An example of what I mean is, a chance of ONE in 30 to draw a Weapon Removal like Acidic Swamp Ooze as 1 out of 30 cards in a decklist, VERSUS ZERO chance of Weapon Removal? Percentage Chance matters when you think of 1-of versus 2-of.
Looks a really fun deck!
I am enjoying the Velen OTK deck! It is difficult to play though as the Wild Pyromancer is not an easy card to make the best use of!
might give it a shot! sounds fun :3
yea cool deck for rank 20
I saw the video he played poorly and Noxious makes a lot of bad decisions.. Why tiger though? if anything use a cheap stealth with giblin stalker..
Puts tonnes of situational expensive combo cards-> "I lost cause my hands were terrible"
noxious 19 rank deck) watched few minutes lol, 3 or 4 games without jinnes, only tigers)))) cool deck(no)
Cool deck.
Whats a Jenny? Do you mean a Jinn?
This is what I've been playing to have a little fun:
Enter the Coliseum is a odd card. Seems playable in this deck, the combination Djinn+Tiger can create powerful combos.
And again, what might work in US desperately fails in EU meta and player base
Yep, never once seen that card played. Seems an odd choice to try to play around.
I've been desperately trying to make it work recently. It's a card somewhat at odds with it's own class. Paladin is great at maintaining a board presence, but ETC almost demands that you're playing a deck with just a few big hitters and the ability to absorb a bunch of punishment.
