No LOE Wing this Week

Due to many people not catching the first few times this has made the rounds, Whirthun posted an official wing release schedule for the final two wings of the League of Explorers. There will not be a wing this week, but wings will come out the following week on Thursday in the Americas and Friday elsewhere.

Quote from Whirthun
The members of the League of Explorers will be taking a break from starting any new adventures the week of November 26. They will be back in action the following week and the remaining wings will release on the following days for each region:

Americas
The Ruined City – Thursday, December 3
Hall of Explorers – Thursday, December 10

Europe/Asia
The Ruined City – Friday, December 4
Hall of Explorers – Friday, December 11

Mike Donais on League of Explorers & Discover

GosuGamers had a chance to sit down with Mike Donais to talk about the League of Explorers and the new Discover mechanic. We've recapped their interview below, you can find the full article here.

Quote from Mike Donais

  • The League of Explorers was something fun for them to explore as a team, instead of just rehashing WoW raid environments.
  • Discover adds more skill-testing options to the game.
  • There should be fairness in randomization. You still need to pay the mana-cost for the beast you get via Webspinner.
  • Adventures will continue to be a fun-once-in-a-while feature. They don't want us feeling like we need to rerun them.
  • Perhaps something like achievements could get people going back into adventures.
  • Tavern Brawls are a perfect way to test out new ways to play the game. It's like a weekend beta test.

When Experiments Go Horribly Wrong

Kripparrian posted a video today about his experiments with Brann Bronzebeard and how they don't always go quite as planned. This is a great time in Hearthstone's history to experiment and it's great to see and experience it.

What sorts of awesome new stuff have you been playing around with after the first two wings of The League of Explorers? If you're looking for some fresh decks out of the community oven, we've got you covered.
